Brutal Death bands haven't been that popular or marketable, so many bands are solo side projects of side projects, or self recorded by like two people. With this in mind the quality of production is an absolute gamble, sometimes the guitars are weak and thin and it's bad, but sometimes you get a Guttural Secrete or a Putridity where the low end is filled out and it sounds actually powerful and good.
