I’m glad it got renewed for a season 2 I’m also glad the show runners addressed the rumor Glover and Erskine were not returning. I’d love it if they introduced Jane’s father next season. it’d be cool if they could get that guy that played in shogun Hiroyuki Sanada.

Great series! I could be wrong, I think there’s a good chance there’s a season 2. As for the last scene I’m calling two quick shots initially by other Jane one delayed third kill shot by our Jane. I thought the chemistry was outstanding between Glover and Erskine. The cinematography was gorgeous. I think the writing was very well laid out and did a good job looping back to dialogue and situations from the overall season to each individual episode. I loved the little things they did to facilitate a dialogue of reconciliation between Jane and John like the conversation Jane had with John’s mom and the neighbor encouraging John to read for the sake of Jane. I think both characters grew over the course of the season which was entertaining to watch. I love how they wrote Jane, in this modern era of movies and TV most female leads are written as these infallible, unstoppable badasses that are frustrating and boring, no growth. Jane however grew over the course of the season with the main sign of individual growth being her asking John his plan something he’s wanted since after episode 2. Finally I think Glover and company under promised and over performed with this project, it overcame an initial uphill battle with critics and fans crying about it being a reboot or remake. I also really enjoyed your commentary and will be watching other videos for sure.

It was nice watching this season reaction. This show is definitely gonna stand out as one of my favorites by the end of the year.

Watching this show has been an exhilarating journey, and your reactions only added to the enjoyment. However, that ending definitely threw me for a loop. While open endings might have worked for the Swarm finale, I'm left hanging, especially concerning Jane and John's fate. A season 2 is eagerly awaited, especially with the tantalizing prospect of finally meeting Jane's father.

Im hoping it’s the same couple next season I don’t want to lose the chemistry 😭 also in the first episode where they met the other smiths they were talking about breathing and made a point of it and in this one just before Jane went to open the door she told John to breathe so I’m hoping they can do something with that if they want to bring them back🤞🏾 (no idea what though)

Theory: Bev saves John and Jane. Bev comes over to John and Janes home and kills Level 3 Jane with 3 shots right before our Jane steps out of the safe room. Bev helps get John and Jane over to her spy company that gives them medical treatment in return for their services since John didn't kill Bev. John and Jane work for a new company in season 2.

Also, I'm glad the other chuck caught the 88rising (double happiness) reference because I missed it. Coincidentally, their first mission took place at the 88 palace. I think the concept of this show is basically an allegory for the idea of a "perfect couple".

I'm late to these reactions but im glad i tuned in for the finale. Not the biggest rom com guy but this was top tier for me. Hopefully it gets recognized during award season. My predictions for season 2 and and who is running hihi - i am optimistic that theyre alive. - if they killed the other smiths, i think they'll be forced into the super high risk bracket. - just throwing this out there, i wouldnt be surprised if hihi was started by john and/or jane from the 05 film. We'll see what happens though, thanks for covering the show guys!🤙🏾

I really enjoyed this series and really impressed with the directing and writing from Glover and Sloane. I couldn’t get enough of it and watched it multiple times already. The chemistry between Glover and Eskrine made it fun and enjoyable. Loved how they incorporated the sometimes embarrassing quirks in a relationship like passing gas, loud chewing, etc.. The last episode was bittersweet because the ride was ending. Loved the truth serum part where they were both finally honest. I know Syntell and guys might not think our John and Jane would come back, I sure hope they do, there is still so much more you can do with them, season 1 they were stupid and green but would love it if they survived and season two they grow as a couple and they grow as a team into lethal assassins and come under the control of HiHi and go to a dark place with a season 3 of redemption and take out HiHi. But Glover seems to like curveballs so anything is possible. If they have a new John and Jane I hope they choose actors with great chemistry. It would be a disappointment to me if our John and Jane didn’t survive and we don’t get at least one additional season with them. The chemistry between Glover and Eskrine is what did it for me, their love story hooked me in and I couldn’t get enough of them. Watch the three little bonus skits Glover and Eskrine did on Prime they are hilarious.
