Wish I could redo my Mopar 1970 new car order/purchase experience again....Stayed with my local Chrysler dealer network & really didn't get Exactly what I wanted....As a kid, Chicago was in another distant Galaxie from my little town.....Mr. Norm dealer car ads was Exactly what I needed....

Mark did you know with minimal machining you can take pontiac 455 pistons a chrysller 340 crank and a gm small block chevy block, the block needs a little trim for the piston clearance but you'll have a on track monster that will stay together for many hours days weeks months years

both with 318, that car was the one, the aspen wagon, it didn't matter how cold it was you could start that car immediately put it in reverse and by the time you stepped on the brake to back into the street, and it was maybe 15 yards that heater had warm air comming out, but the duster, same engine, A/C, temp range thermostat, same heater core evap box, and heater core was not even a bit warm, never understood that, heater hoses routed same. tried it several times after noticing how freaky fast it got warm, dash was slightly styled different

they even branded it up to 1980 as an Aspen with station wagon set up, I had a 74 duster and mom had a 1980 aspen wagon same front end except signal lights, chrome etc

Mark Worman should buy a 74 cuda and build it as a road track race car. Make it totally functional and make it look totally badass. You would get your money back plus

If you are sending an engine to be painted, send all of it. You are wasting the paint guy's time with setup and cleanup when you act like a jerk and send parts one at a time. It's wasteful, annoying and just plain rude. To the guy spraying, don't be an idiot. If you know the part hasn't been scuffed or cleaned, either do the prep work yourself or send it back to the guy that's supposed to do the prep. But, under no circumstances, is there any excuse for shooting paint that you know is going to waste because you know it isn't going to stick. That's lazy, stupid and wasteful. If it were me running the shop, you would remove the bad paint job and do the prep on your own time and the wasted supplies would be coming out of your wages. And, if you don't like that, you know where the door is. Moral of the story: Don't be a jerk. As for what passes for a sense of humour with Mark: In other episodes, he does stuff that is both childish and abusive, but he seems to behave himself in this episode.
