Yeah. What I was thinking. I really didn’t expect him to have the range of motion in his shoulders and his back. He pretty much just nailed down everything they taught him with a few goes.
@Aperralll3 жыл бұрын
I think it really helps that he’s not overly muscular to the point that it effects his mobility He’s got quite a bit of weight compared to most gymnasts, so it was surprising to see his jumping so high (even with spring floor weight can hold you back a little bit). He’s also quick to learn the motions he needs to take to get a back tuck done, and not a big mental block. I’m sure they trained more than 16 minutes but a lot of young gymnasts will take a bit to be able to land of their feet doing a back tuck, even *kinda* executing a pike back. This was impressive, I wasn’t expecting it go that well tbh. I would have enjoyed seeing him try back handsprings, maybe even front handsprings, aerials (his cartwheel was pretty nice). Maybe hes in the wrong profession. Didn’t start young but could totally train recreationally!

I don’t even know this Ryan Terry lad, literally first time I’ve heard of him, but the way his body responds and adapts to what he’s asking of it, despite the kind of physical training he’s used to and despite the size of his body, is unbelievable. A true athlete.
