I like that the ZAKU does not have spikes on both shoulders it gives it a more natural look like it was designed that way.

Thanks for mentioning that building a kit like this is not as easy as it seems. I often find myself feeling inferior to other builders here on KZbin thinking they're SO much faster and have it SO much easier than me. @@frostedsnow I think it would probably look cool on a Word Bearers (Chaos Space Marine) army. Marble the flat surfaces and paint the extra molding(trim) a bone color for the elites (sneaky some nice gold touches here and there) and a dark blackish gray for the troops.

I just really think this was the perfect example of how to build a dozle. I have one also, but I'm too afraid to build it because I don't think I'll do it justice. Also the stickers scare me! It's nice to just see the right way to make one.

That looks great! You can really lay down some paint. I like the flashy royal treatment. Like a solider in their dress blues. Now I'd like to see one taken the other way and go like US style tiger stripe camo. My favorite camo I think.

An amazing, beautiful build. I was in awe the entire time. I absolutely love your use of a matte coat for some of the pieces, I feel like most people don't consider mixing up the texture on a kit and it really elevated the finished product here. I think some panel lining in gold would have been a cool thing to try, and maybe some contrast on the axe blade, but aside from that? Perfection.

Just found your channel and oh my what a great vid to see. I saw this way of painting done on a motorcycle fuel tank and cover parts. The painter did blue over silver and black and then red over gold and black. I could see using this method on a variety of things besides models. Hotwheels my speakers and even a dresser would look great doing this. Really enjoyed watching you paint and assemble and the little drive to the coffee house with Cookie lol that's what I thought you were calling him. I was in R.O.K. in 1984 - 85 while in the Army really was a beautiful country and the weather was much like my native upstate NY. Looking forward to watching that other big kit build. Does Cookie also make models does he have a channel or does he ever get on your channel and craft?
