So true and most of those she draws can see the coach issue and her teammates icing her out. So frustrating to watch a player drive and get stopped/blocked by 3 defenders while CC is open and they won’t pass the ball. 🏀 Coach Sides should be making adjustments and not interrupt momentum just to play favorites. I’m not upset about losses or her obvious learning curve. But, you can clearly see other teams embracing their rookies. CC already has enough pressure on her. Her team should be encouraging and building on their cohesiveness. I sure hope she stays away from social media and all the haters.

Then when she got the ball she let it get stolen 11 times. Angel Reese stole the ball made a lay up and shot the ball at the buzzer from half court and made the basket. 100% ON POINT! Ive been seemingly noticing what appears to be her teammates trying to assist in her getting turnovers! We were all taught growing up in bball that when your teammate is doubled or trapped and lost their dribble, you go TO THE BALL, and the first couple of games CC's teammates just stood there like deer in headlights! Her coach making some of the comments publicly were ridiculously unprofessional! Sides NEVER takes any responsibility whatsoever! It doesnt even look like they have an offense! Caitlin Clark has ever played, including high school. We Love The Indiana Fever, we are happy that Caitlin got drafted there and we know for Fact it is Where Caitlin wanted to be. There’s alot of work ahead for the Fever obviously, and also Importantly The Coaching issues, which Honestly have Us and Many People up in Arms, Puzzled as to what in The World is Coach Sides Doing right now? Caitlin seems to be doing the very Best she can, and we want to personally thank you for not putting everything of all this on Caitlins Shoulders. It Truly has to be very frustrating right now for all the Fever Payers there, including Alot of players on the bench. Why are a lot of these good players just sitting on the bench when they need WNBA playing time so they can get the feel of the professional WNBA Games pace. Celeste Taylor, who’s on The Bench is outstanding on Defense, and can play Offense well also. Why arent these Other Good Players coming in? It would Good to to see These other bench players, come in, to just mix it up and see how the Offense and Defense Flows . And right now would be a good time To bring the bench players in. Because what happened to mid to late season if we have key players down that are injured, And then coach wants to bring in these players at the last minute, hoping that they would make some kind of impact with zero experience? Let’s be realistic. Or what if the Fever’s record mid to late Season despite how good they are playing, is still in the loss, columns and changes need to be made With bringing players off the bench at the last minute Hoping that they would make a difference When they have zero playing time, that would not be a good idea to wait. Just thoughts here.

I agree with his remarks. I must admit that I mainly started watching because of Angel Reese and the other top draft picks like Cameron and Rickea. The Fever need to quickly understand what they signed up for by drafting CC. They have the Herculean task of trying to win, but also make every effort to make their superstar shine because she’s the main reason for the sudden influx of fans. Congrats Fever, you are now responsible for the entire league’s bottom line whether you realize it or not. It still wouldn’t be good if they were winning and Clark wasn’t scoring as much because lots of fans are tuning in to see her. I know people will have issues with this, but it is what it is people. This draft class will hopefully help the league to quickly create a blueprint on how to manage and capitalize on future stars drafted into the league like Paige,Fulwiley and JuJu. Necessary changes are already happening as evidenced by the WNBA announcing that they will be providing charter flights starting next season to help address safety and security concerns. Once the WNBA is loaded with more box office stars then they won’t have to feel like they’re putting all their eggs in one basket. Until then, they will have to find ways to empower CC on and off the court as much as possible.🤔🧐

I was listening to sports radio yesterday morning, and they were going on and on, hopping from sport to sport. They discussed mainly the NBA, but touched upon the NFL, Formula 1, PGA, WNBA, Premier Soccer league and MLB. You can keep adding additional sports, but the fact is there is still only 24 hours in a day. There is only so much time in a day that people can dedicate to watching sports. I think it's time for MLB to step aside, for its fans are all older and ratings are stagnant. As for Caitlin Clark, not all the fault can lie upon her. Yes, she does get sloppy with many of her passes, but her teammates are also not used to the power of her throws. There were clear examples where turnovers were the fault of the teammate Clark passed to. I had never watched a WNBA game prior to Clark's arrival, and since then I've even watched games that Clark didn't play in. So now I'm a fan of Kelsey Plum, Kate Martin, and Arike (Dallas Wings). And there are several examples of other women making great shots, not just Clark. Arike of the Dallas Wings was KILLING IT in the game against the Sky, but still lost.

I don't think the casual Caitlin fans will leave...IF...Christie Sides builds the Fever around letting Caitlin be Caitlin. The rough start to the WNBA doesn't bother me at all...but the glaring lack of enthusiasm and support from her teammates on the court is troublesome. I mean, look at the enthusiasm Kate Martin gets from the Aces. Yeah I get it. The greatest offensive player in NCAA history comes to your team and you have to change and adapt your style of play. Boston is typically the last one chugging up the court. Smith is better but has real issues with simply catching a pass. Teammates insist on dribbling into multiple coverage to force a shot...while Caitlin stands open. Fagbenle, while needing some refinement of her offensive skills, looks like a good fit for the new offense (she's also the one who points to Caitlin and offer the most support). Caitlin should be running this show...this has to be why you drafted her #1. Teammates who can't/won't adjust, for whatever reason, should be sitting their butts on the bench and plan on searching for a new team next year. Caitlin will be fine and I think her fans will stick with her (I know I will), but the Fever as a team, from their coaches to the players, have to accept and adapt to their new superstar.

Let’s be honest the Indiana coach the players including CC are not at the level as some of the other WNBA teams. The coach does not run the offense to their strengths and on defense they need a lot of help developing stops. The Indiana team needs a couple players that can grind on defense since I don’t think the current roaster including CC will ever develop into great defenders, not at this point into their careers. CC needs time adjusting to new bigger, faster and stronger league and cut down on the turnovers to become the player many are expecting. Look for replays of the games, also there are several pages that have analyzed the plays, CC is getting turnovers for balls that hit her teammates in the hands and they dropped/ fumbled the pass. Not all her fault.
