I don't know how but this gave me nostalgic feelings [ keep in mind I was born in 2005 2 years after mr.stain and I only knew about it in 2018 maybe because I've seen every episode over and over again ever since I got DVD ]

A lot of people watched Stain when it aired on the Funimation channel in 2006. I think they only showed a few episodes to promote the DVD, and put the rest on their streaming service. Supposedly, Cartoon Network LA (Latin America) aired it as well, and some other channels in different countries.

I always saw ads for this show back on funimation, but never actually watched it. I do remember the song really well, so nostalgic.

You should consider watching it. Despite the dated CGI, many of the episodes are surprisingly touching and well-written, at least in my opinion. To balance out the depressing moments, there are lots of surreal and imaginative moments that make you forget the dark underlying themes, at least until the next sad scene comes around. I have all the episodes in a playlist on my channel if you want to watch, or if you want to do it legally, you can buy the DVD on Amazon or eBay for around $30-$50.

I have a theory that the police officer is the baby’s dad/relative since in the 13th episode his hair was shown and they have the same hair. But hey -that’s just a theory- it could just be a coincidence! But I have no idea who the mom would be...... (dang what’s with all these unknown mothers we don’t know Popee’s mother there’s no mirrored Papi so we don’t know Eepop’s mom we only know Kedamono’s mom and I’m not even sure if it’s his mom) Edit:why did I always think Lomeria was called Lomiera?? Edit2: Another personal Mandela Effect I remember in the extras for Popee The Performer in the intro Popee’s face/head showed first and then I remember Papi’s face/head showed second but when I watched it again Kedamono was second and well that made more sense.

That description fits better with Popee The Performer imo. Popee and Kedamono definitely fit better into the ‘cat and mouse’ archetype than Stain and Palvan, as neither member of the latter duo really tries to kill the other one, the one exception I can think of being when Palvan gets turned into Faceless Palvan in Magic Crayon, though he hardly seemed to be himself at the time.
