John is 100% correct. Eat your ass off, train your ass off.And sleep all the time.If you have genetics to grow you will grow. I've done it all naturally. I know John. Also , great guy , and what he is saying is a fact. I met John when I was 16 years old at Fullerton college. When he says eat your ass off.He means it and when he says train your ass off , he means it. You think you're gonna get fat, but you don't?It converts right to muscle. Is John 100% correct about everything? No but nobody is. But he is being as forthcoming as he could possibly be. And just like he did with all the advice he got in life. He disirmed the good from the bad. And give it a 100%. And that's what it takes as well.As. Being foretold by the man above. And listening to that subtle voice. Everybody always expects God to scream to as this gigantic. Mythical creature riding a white horse with gigantic wings and a voice is loudest thunder, but most of The Times he's like a hummingbird whispering in your. Have you ever heard of baby hummingbird chirp?. Oh and just for the record my friend Roger Estep A very good power lifter once told me the best lifts that he ever did was after drinking a two liter bottle of coca-cola. If you know you know.✔️

Johns a cool guy but his training methods would only work for him. He says start with good form and then keep lifting when your form degrades. Even Ronnie Coleman did not train like that. Even Dorian Yates did not train like that. Even Lee Haney did not train like that. Even Phil Heath did not train like that. Without good form your not gonna build any control and balance and really stimulate the muscle fibres. Thats coming from Coleman and Yates and Haney and Heath - all the greatest. You have to control the positive and negative movements of the lift throughout the entire range of motion of the muscle. None of the top champions ever abandoned good lifting form. They only used a few cheat reps at the end of a set. Thats coming from 4 champions. Much respect to John for his amazing fatherly love for his sons. But he is mot a top trainer and coach.

... One leak in his concepts about parenting : not everyone even wants to make millions, believe it or not... also when your daughter wants to become a gymnast, even if there's no money in gymnastics in general - if she is talented and she just loves it -well, she might become the next Simone Biles and get a contract with Nike... Not likely to happen if you push your kids into something they don't even want to do!!
