This Match took place over 30 Years ago vback when i was a kid and would emphatically deratizaciju up and Down Wrestling was Real. The NWA. With Ric Flair and Magnum Ta snd others put on a good show. Zjenica saw Hulk Hogan and the WWF which was entertaining but eventually put the cheese in cheesie matches.

I’ll never forget being picked up as a 3 year old boy by TONY ATLAS as he exited the locker room at West Columbus High School in Cerro Gordo NC. It was 1979. He carried me all the way to the steps of the ring and gave me a pack of Grape Hubba Bubba; 3 pieces left. I felt like I was an Angel and I remember his win. Watching the match Tony had on purple tights and knee pads. The crowd whole gym chanting 1..2..3 as the referee hit the mat. It was incredible… Then the main attraction a young Ric Flair came out that locker room to his music playing. The girls was all over him. I literally wrapped myself around Ric Flairs thigh as a 3 year old boy. I’ve thought about that so many times. But this video takes me literally in my mind to that night. Jimmy Valiant, Black Jack Mulligan, The Great Kabuki and a few more. Female wrestler Diana Prince. OMG I remember how attractive she was the long dark hair, beautiful makeup. My my my I wish wrestling could be more like that again.

Apparently, his PED of choice was an Oral. Dianabol 🧐 Other long time users such as Flair and Piper were known to use Deca Durablin IM shots. I'm assuming all the juices up wrestlers we're running a rather large Testosterone Base probably 4-600mg per week. (Just what I've heard on podcasts over the years, I always been curious what a Paul Orndorf cycle looked like to a Rick Rude to Hogan etc)

@@BerserkerSloth You two just know too much today. These techniques really worked. The design of the match just frustrates people's sense of fairness. Referee bumps were rare then. I remember seeing my first one as a kid and I was incensed that my hero had the other guy beat, but by the time the ref was back, my hero had been attacked unfairly. Basic emotions come out. I believe the booing is real. This is a great setup for another big crowd to see Atlas vs. Duggin.

Tony was one of the first muscled-up wrestlers of that time. I'm told not all guys like him could hack it in the ring (many tried and failed). Matches are much shorter these days and other wrestlers are more skilled in working around non-athletic big opponents.
