Catnip has become so exspensive to buy. Very easy to grow. Just trim bush when full. Place in dehydrater on 65c for 5hrs or untill dry. Crush finely between hands till very fine. Do this over a large tray. And there you have your own catnip. The bush grows pretty fast and keeps growing thicker after each trim.

Mr Vivo is having a good Saturday. He looks totally stoned at the end. The only problem I see, Robert, is that you didn't put anything out for him to snack on when he gets the munchies. Finally got my Coonie kitten. She's 15 weeks old and weighs 4 pounds. But that 4 pounds is full of energy. I think she just went through a growth spurt - very leggy and skinny. But I'll put a little of that weight back on her. She's silver and black, just beautiful. She's so sweet, except when ahe's not. :). Her name is Lizzie May.

@ethicscannie5716 Lizzie May is 6 mos old now. She's still a bit of a wild woman. Has no hesitancy in jumping on the 2 older and bigger ragdolls who also live here. But it is getting better. She's quite the cuddle bug, especially in the mornings and late evenings. She's our 3rd MC. Our first, a female weighed 16 lbs and lived to 16 yrs. Our 2nd, a male only weighed 14 lbs. Unfortunately, he died of HCM at age 6. We had gotten our first ragdoll before he died and after his death got our raggie male. The raggies are 5 and 3 years old.

Your girl sounds like my late Sassy Girl. She was 6 months old when I got her. She weighed 6 pounds and steadily gained weight. When she was spayed at 7 or 8 months she weighed 12 lbs. Her vet said that was okay, she was going to be a big girl. Catnip drove her crazy, ran around the house chasing invisible mice, zooming, nipping my fingers that smelled like the nip. When she came down, she took a 2 hour nap then was back to her loving self. No munchies. Like your kitty Sassy was silver and black. She lived to the ripe old age of 15 years which is old for a Maine Coon. It's 20 years since she passed on and I still miss her.

My cats would have had the fresh catnip mowed down in 3 seconds flat! Mr Vivo got the mellows from the catnip, I wish my 4 boys would. Mine get nuts, zoomies and even a bit aggressive towards each other, so we don't give it to them too often. However, it grows wild all over the place where I live so it's hard to control sometimes.
