I would stay away from MR12 with these newer S1000 line bikes as the lead adversely degrades the wideband lambda sensors. In previous generations, it didn't matter as the narrowband sensors were useless.
@mostlycrue20 күн бұрын
I think you failed to mention how caustic MR12 is. This is not a fuel you can leave in the tank.

Im impressed that it made 191 on 91pump gas! I just did a dyno shoot out (at a harley event) i have your ait relocation, bt velocity stacks, tuned, was on 93 pump arrow headers+mid-pipe with stock akrapovic muffler, stock filter and only made 187.52whp they did tell me that the dyno is off 8-12hp at these numbers. The dyno tech also said the tire was slightly slipping so I'm going to put in a sprint filter and mr12 and hope for that magic 200hp number
@BT_Moto20 күн бұрын
As all dynos read differently, the key is to always get a baseline and improve upon that baseline with good afr and a smooth power curve. If you’re making 10whp over your baseline on the same dyno, same day, you’re doing something right.
@QuicKurtZX14R18 күн бұрын
@BT_Moto my bike gained 9HP at peak power , but gained 12+ in other areas after a recent dyno tune, same day same dyno. The graph was almost more telling than the actual #'s, massive gains IMO

Is there a reason why mr12 is king in sportbike world and u hardly see alternatives such as e85, ms109 etc as well as alternative brands such as gulf, renegade, panta...obvs u just killed the fuel factory argument😂 is lead literally the difference?

So question... Not sure about now but is there a difference between what you are running now vs a Dedicated Pump map vs MR12 map for the K67? Is the dedicated MR12 just even better? Do people with Dual Maps not need to switch to the MR12 map and just dump MR12 in while running their Pump Gas Map?
@jasperpearce831620 күн бұрын
Did u watch? He explains at the end...fuel time closed loop which only BT offer...only brand that comes with wideband lambdas stock. U chuck mr12 in anything else it runs stupid lean as the fuel is oxygenated. They are able to set AFR target and the ecu adjusts to the fuel, tempz altitude etc. Ignition also adjusts for these variables. U can run more ignition with higher octane and compression which gives more power....crap fuel on aggressive timing would ping its tits off til things break, melt etc.
@Outlaw_27020 күн бұрын
They can all technically run on a stock map but without a tune you not taking full advantage of the race fuel. Depending on the fuel it could take more or less of it to get the air/fuel into the sweet spot. I run multiple maps on my bike. I normally drain the 93 out before running 2wl. There is always a tiny bit of 93 still in the bottom of the tank and in the lines but that wont hurt your bike if your on the race fuel map. It just means you need to let the bike run that 93 fuel through which you can do just by warming up.
