Beautiful stuff... What did this cost
@MrYammi Жыл бұрын
Thanks....about 1.000 €. The most expensive was the overhaul of the crankshaft, rund about 400€, and a new piston, as well as the machining of the cylinder

hi good job i also own xt 350 1986 how did you adjust the carburetor?
@MrYammi Жыл бұрын
Hi, set fuel level at 6mm, raise the primary carb valve to a height of 2.5mm . Then adjust the synchronizing throttle shaft just contacts the secondary throttle push lever. Important: check the condition of the intake manifold, the are often defective. Unscrew the mixture screw 2 turns

I try with tha same carburetor membrane on my XT350, but the rubber is to hard, I do not have any power wit little gas, only whe I give full throttle then goes hard. Any similar problems with this membrane?
@MrYammi9 ай бұрын
No, I didn't have those problems. The rubber was soft and flexible

I think around 4000 euros. But regardless, it's so much fun to drive...

Yeah I just bought one for 1500 bucks and I’m looking to redoo it over the winter your work was perfect so I may have some questions in the near future thanks for the reply

@@TG-zd4ud And when you have done this, you have a new bike from the 80's. That's worth it😉
