If you run the water a little bit while pouring the soap in, it doesn’t clog so much. I usually put in about 2/3 cup with enough hot water to slosh around while we drive.

I lived only one full year in our winter home in Bonita Springs Florida in 2021. I was away from my 5 grown kids and 3 little grandkids. I love florida sunshine, it’s a great reprieve from harsh cold MN winters BUT but nothing compares to being near family. Nothing. And I just worry when you have children, if you plan to have them, or when your parents age, you’ll want to be near your family. Idk. I guess you can always try and then sell later if it’s not all you’re looking for abroad. You have options :) Adventure and experiences are very valuable. Forgot to say I was in fl for the year because of psoriasis which I healed. And a porch build on our home there. I love Minnesota more than ever since being home. Home is where your family is, in most cases. Take care :)

What’s your secret for getting rid of psoriasis if you don’t mind. My daughter and I have it so bad and hate medication anything natural you did ?? Thanks dear
@joannbarthold30322 жыл бұрын
@@debbiblakeslee2373 Hi, I went for 5 months being absolutely miserable so itchy all over my body and uncomfortable, I’d wake up every morning and have to change sheets from blood spots everywhere. I didn’t want to be on meds so I detoxed as much as I could; no alcohol, coffee, sugar, or anything I thought would be inflammatory. I juiced greens and ate Whole Foods got lots of sun which felt great!. Doing all this made me feel better as far as itching (and I lost 35 lbs) but I couldn’t stop the spread so I finally gave in and started injections on Embrel. 2 weeks in I started swelling up and went to ER I was allergic to the meds! So they started me on prednisone and said get into a dermatologist to tell you how much to take. The knowledgeable dermatologist in FLorida took one look at me and said omg have you had a skin swab done? She did one and found I had staphylococcus areas on top of the psoriasis. She put me on strong antibiotics for two weeks and said once I’m done with all this I have to get on another injection for the psoriasis, she said it would come back like gangbusters. I said not necessarily. My stress was gone as I enjoyed florida and I had detoxed my body. It’s never come back (little dry patch on elbows that’s it) it had covered my whole body! I’m fine. No meds. It was stress and toxicity is my guess. Psoriasis I’d an autoimmune condition which is caused by inflammation. Many times gluten but can be many things. Lower stress, meditation breathing. I forgot I did that too. It all helped. And sunshine, plenty of it, felt great on my skin. It came on suddenly and was diagnosed by a biopsy at the dermatologist in MN, I read up on everything and never did the topical steroids since they can cause withdrawals later and you build a tolerance to them and need more and more. My dad and 2 brothers have been on embrel for years. They don’t cut back on alcohol or sugar just take meds and have the psoriatic arthritis with it too. We have the ability to heal but also need meds like it did for the staph infection too just temporarily. I hope that helps.

After dumping your black water Use a cold water tide pod (put down the toilet drain) and a bag of ice and some water (also dumped down the toilet) and then drive. It will clean the sides of the tank. When you dump your black water tank it will clean out nice and neat. When using our Rv I treat the black water tank every time it is in use with a product that is called T5. It turns everything to a dark water so we don’t get a poop pyramid in our toilet. (Btw: we have had a poop pyramid and it was quite the adventure ). I live in Canada so we have to winterize our units every winter using a antifreeze product so our tanks and system don’t freeze. Every spring I treat our water by using bleach and then flush the system. We put some bleach in the water and let sit for a while and then flush. Every winter I also put bounce dryer sheets and moth balls every where in every compartment to deter the mice. Apparently they don’t like the smell.
@LanaALaBonte2 жыл бұрын
Heads up that moth balls are toxic to breathe in or be exposed to. My grandmother used them & although they work, kill brain cells.
@debstockdale32702 жыл бұрын

Hum, my friend just winterized their Sprinter this week. They definitely did not want to use Moth balls, so did some research to add on to suggestions I already gave them. Original scent dryer sheets, Irish spring soap (make shavings with peeler or cut up into several blocks), bay leaves 🍃 and peppermint E.Oil (deters bugs, rodents etc), spearmint chewing gum. Lastly steel wool used underneath any metal entry (rodents, snakes cannot get through). They did FLUSH with RV product then use antifreeze for final winterizing.

I started looking at foreign properties beginning about two years ago; nothing specific per se....except closer to the Equator. (I live in Seattle.) However, Portugal, Spain, Italy, and Ecuador are right up there. I had looked Stateside also, mostly Western states...but all the wildfires, wildfire smoke, water issues, costs/expenses, etc. has mostly shelved that option. I lived in the UK and Germany for 7 years earlier in my life....and I miss authentic CULTURE, history, tradition, and respect.

Honestly, I always look for “God” incidents like the fact that the water mill was the first property you looked at, that the water mill did not sell all the time you were looking at other properties, and that local official seem to be willing to work with you, all seem to be indicators this is the property for you! Doing your due diligence in working out the problems like a water source ahead of time should just cement the plan that this is meant to be! ❤
