is that an active "tower" on the property that you guys like? If so, make sure it's not emitting radiation so close you the home!! Seriously if it is emitting radation = cancer causing issues!! look into this. Get a radition meter and test it.

Why not schedule an appointment at the French Embassy in Lisbon to take care of your citizenship? I'm no expert, but if your dad is french it should be a pretty straight forward process... and you wouldn't have to worry about the 90 days no more! Congratulations on 100K! A useful tip, I believe! You can avoid the trip to the post office to pay the tolls, you can do it online! Since your van has a Portuguese license plate and you have a Portuguese bank account you can generate a MB (Multibanco) reference number for your toll payment at the CTT wbsite or on the CTT mobile ap, and then you use that number either at a bank ATM or on your bank online services to make the payment.

I mentioned this before only I will remind you just in case...get a new copy of your marriage certificate when you are ready for the immigration hearing. Portugal requires a certificate that is less than 6 months old. As for the Algarve, yup, a much better match for you two. Plus it's only a 5 hour drive from Faro to Porto AND just over 2 hours to visit Seville. We were originally going to rent a place in Coimbra and search for a place to buy in the Algarve only travel with pets forced us to purchase immediately. Then we fell in love with Obidos and let go of our idea of moving south. Funny enough our next property will be in Florida :) (easier to connect with all my snowbird family)

Hi, love your videos follow you from a long time ago, I am Portuguese, JUST TO SAY, attention the long receipt is because you are buying to a group that anytime you buy something they give you discount on PETROL and other stuff, that is what goes into the receipt if you read , I say there are like 3 parts, the receipt, and then the other parts with discount types and description....so that is why its long...it sometimes is very beneficial!!! living is easy, know how to live is harder!! :)

Toll = portagem (Pedágio - it's how they say it in Brazil) There is a google translater with european Portuguese, but probably you have to change your google country account

Guys don’t use the translator default settings because translate to “Brazilian” Toll = Portagem not Pedagio. Same way the US say sidewalk and the UK say curbside we have loads of different words. Most portuguese will know the Brazilian words but some are just way different like Butcher = Talho not Açougue (brazilian). Set your translator to European portuguese because there are many countries speaking portuguese each with some minor differences.
