I don't care what anyone says, Jubilee is the best introductory character out of Kitty and Alison. She has an interesting backstory, is a natural gymnast, is street smart, cunning, and is inexplicably immune to telepathy. You could do a whole sub plot in the MCU X-Men where she stows away on the blackbird and is hiding around the mansion stealing food while Professor Xavier is trying to figure out if Cerebro is on the fritz because it's detecting a mutant in the mansion that he can't find with his mind.

Setting aside her vampire version, I think Jubilee can be considered as an Omega level mutant. Jubilee possesses the mutant ability to generate what she calls "fireworks" (also known as Energy Plasmoids or "Lumikinetic Explosive Light Blasts": These are essentially globules of light energy that vary in power and intensity. The globules obey her mental commands, travelling where she directs them, arranging themselves in a variety of forms - balls, streamers, and other shapes - and exploding when she wishes. The explosions can result in anything from a multitude of colorful sparkles, capable of temporarily blinding a person, to a fairly powerful detonation capable of smashing tree trunks or metal objects. Jubilee can also absorb the generated fireworks back into her own body without harm. According to Emma Frost, she has the potential to detonate matter at a sub-atomic level. Also, Jubilee's mind possesses a natural defense against telepathic detection or attack. These psionic shields render her mind "slippery" and invisible to telepathic beings unless they know precisely what to mentally scan for. Jubilee is also skilled in gymnastics and had qualified for the Olympic Games before her parents were murdered. She is also a good hand-to-hand combatant, having received training from Wolverine and later with Generation X. Yep, she's not merely "that firework chick in X-men". She can definitely kick some ass. .

That was HI-larious 😆!! I didn't see see the last season or 2 of XTAS when it originally aired --- don't know how that happened --- but I would have remembered THAT speech! "Jubilee: Princess of Pyrotechnics 🙆🏻‍♀️🎇!!" They should have had Storm 👩🏿‍🦳⚡ in that scene & had her give Jubilee an evaluation & pointers on how to give a good speech B4 kicking a$$!! I think a lot of people don’t know that Storm is considered a Weather Witch and she says those speeches because she’s “casting a spell.” Fox X-men movies didn’t have Storm do speeches when summoning her weather powers and it was not a true portrayer of her character. I think even the directors and screenwriters didn’t know this about her character when they were given to make an XMen movie, probably because they were focused on Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Storm was an afterthought character. Heck, they didn’t even do Cyclops justice and he’s the leader of the X-men.

I know Statik Shock (DC Comics) and Jubilee (Marvel Comics) are from two entirely different cartoon properties and comic companies but given that they do both have similar powers and even dress similar with the long coat and goggles it would be so cool if we had a crossover like Avengers/Galaxy where they team up and bond much like fellow Spider-Man heroes Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy in the Spider-Verse movies!
