American Tales (A TAOS Special)

There are many engines that live on the Island of Sodor, but not everyone comes from England, for the North Western Railway has plenty of American locomotives too.
These engines had plenty of long journeys through their time before they crossed over the pond, and these are some of the adventures they had.

Such a neat story collection of various characters! The new eye animation is a great improvement so job well done Adam! I liked the storyline for Pere Marquette 1225. Thanks a lot for the July 4th treat, Adam! Would've watched it sooner, but I had a cookout to attend, as is traditional in the neighborhood. 😁 Each character is unique here. Why, I think we can guess who became the Polar Express... 😉 I'm so glad to see that there has been only _one_ case of swearing in this special. In fact, I like how everything in the US is portrayed as peaceful, orderly and clean compared to the chaos and ugliness going on in your version of the UK. Makes a perfect contrast. 👍 Love the new moving eyes. You've stepped up in your animation. Impressive. _Most_ impressive... Seeing Caitlin and Hamilton makes me think of Moses and Rameses at the beginning of _The Prince of Egypt._ Just glad that, unlike Moses, Caitlin wasn't tempting fate... 😜😆

Whoa!! Caitlin pulled the B&O’s Royal Blue passenger train! Nice! But before that she was a simple B&O P-7 President Class Pacific with one surviving sibling at the B&O RR Museum. B&O P-7 Pacific 5300 the George Washington. This was during the time when the US railroads were in the streamliner era.

A fun fact, the K4 Hank mentioned wasn't the only Pennsylvania locomotive at the 1939 World's Fair, the other locomotive there was the PRR S1, a 6-4-4-6 Duplex, another fun fact, due to the streamlining on the K4s, they earned the nickname "Torpedoes" from their crews
