Stanley is a hybrid, or a combination, of two tank engines: The Hudswell Clarke/Hunslet Austerity 0-6-0ST Tank Engine (First built between 1937), and the Hudswell Clarke/Kitson Lloyds No. 5459 "Austin I" (First built in 1932). He is slightly more similar towards the Hudswell Clarke/Kitson Lloyds No. 5459 "Austin I", albeit with an arched smokebox and no running board sandboxes. Stanley also arrived to the Island on March 22nd, 1953. Between 1932 and 1937, (The years of when the two types of engines Stanley was based off were built) and the date he arrived, which would leave a 16 - 21 year gap between being built and arriving to the Island. Phillip said he was built in 1930, so he would be 80 (If in 2010), 82 (If in 2012) or 93 (If in the Present). That would mean Phillip is 93 years old. This shows us that Stanley's age would be 78-83 (If in 2010), 80-85 (If in 2012) or 91-96 (If in the Present). However, the oldest I can put Stanley is probably 91 years, because if the math is correct (2023 - 1932 = 91). Plus, if he was any older, it wouldn't make sense (Unless Stanley was Phillip's age at 93 and was built in 1930). Bear is a British Rail Class 35 "Hymek" Diesel engine (He was designed and built in 1964 by Beyer, Peacock and Company). His "Hymek" nickname was from the company Mekydro, which helped design the hydraulic transmission units and torque converters. He arrived to the Island in 1967. Since Phillip would be the same ages that I mentioned for Stanley. I must do the same for Bear. However, Bear would be 43 (If in 2010), 45 (If in 2012) and 56 (If in the Present). Conclusion: Phillip - 93 Years Old Stanley - 91 Years Old Bear - 56 Years Old
