⚠ An important note here about the Walking Mausoleums Bell Vs no Bell: Mausoleums with bells will duplicate ANY boss remembrance. Mausoleums without bells will ONLY duplicate the remembrance of a non-shard bearer (non Demi God) boss; (examples: Regal Ancestor Spirit, Fire Giant, Astel Naturalborn of the Void). ⚠ Sorry; I did thoroughly test that, but I got them a bit mixed up when recording that part. Hey, to add to Tip 14: If you approach a Walking Mausoleum at the very late night/almost morning time, they'll be asleep and won't be moving at all. So you're free to whack at their footskulls without fear of being stepped on. It's hard to manage as you can't rest until the proper time. a video of the QOL features in elden ring would be nice. Map features, markers, beacons, the fast way to get to round table hold. eating runes without the inventory window closing so you can eat more runes. closing the right side of the inventory screen so we can see our fashions without the window closing each time. Marking sites of grace in the map window so we can have pre selected sites of grace that we can travel to at a glance. The fact that there is a pause in elden ring. open equipment window, then select help, then choose menu explanation - that pauses the game. raw meat dumplings in a belt slot and the mimic summons will eat them to heal (rng) Mimics will use many items from our belt slots, also the fact that the poisoning from raw meat dumplings does NOT poison the summons. same with night maidens mist - that spell will harm the caster but not any of its summons. There are more QOL things in elden ring, so many that it would take some time to sort out into a video. Non of these are explained or talked about ingame. One needs to be diligent and observant to find them.

More tips: The most important tip for me is the most important rule of any games and that is: Anything the game allows you to do, you are allowed to do, there is no bad way to play, just your way. Forget the so called self proclaimed elitists who try to get into your head with there 'git good" bullshit. Elitist is just another word for big pain in the butt. Talking about butt, if you can't survive when in front of an enemy much bigger than you, then unlock yourself and go for the butt or the legs, a slashing weapon works best since it will hit without targeting. Behind is always the safest place. If you hit a wall (enemy too strong), find a way around it, go somewhere else, you can always comeback later with a jackhammer, your toothpick won't cut it. Spend all your runes before a big fight and farm a bit if you're close to a next level, the next thing you know you'll never be out of arrows or your favorite consumables and you will lose nothing when you die except a bit of your dignity. Pick up all the collectables near you as you go, even on horseback, with a little practice it won't even slow you down, just spam the pick up button as you approach them. It's there you're there, don't be lazy, Shiny craniums, plants, abandoned souls, it's all free money. In a long game those things stack up into a big bundle, When you need just a few thousand runes to level up, just look into your inventory + you can craft pretty much anything too. At night, all the shiny white goodies become visible from much farter away in the countryside. I love the night.

Most of these aren't "absolutely essential", most of these are explained outright by the game to you. The rest you can figure out within hours if you bother exploring at all. I'll hijack this video to add my own: Torret is immune to poison and makes you immune to poison swamps. He can also sprint across areas you crawl on foot. Torret is healed every time you drink a potion or cast healing spells on yourself. The octopus enemy, the larger one, is very weak to head damage, to the point you can easily chain a head hit to a critical to another head hit and another critical and so on. They are also very resistant against attacks in any other part of their body. There are set enemies that always replenish your potions. They are usually small groups of weak enemies, and often run away from you. One such example is a pack of 3 hollow nobles in the first area - Limgrave - that walk on the road from the soldier camp where you get Torret. Just a little up that road at night is the Night Cavalry boss. Field bosses so not recover health, but if one escapes they lose aggro, allowing for a quick cheesy surprise attack. For veteran From Soft players: Hard caps are much higher and you are supposed to go much higher than lvl 100 like in previous games. Unless you do a challange run, 70-80 in a single Stat is not wasting of levels. There are way more delayed attacks, both by mobs and bosses. Timing is different than other games. Some areas of the map only accessible by going through secret paths in optional dungeons.

for any veteran souls player who think armor is just fashion, it really isn't, the stats on the armor really shapes a lot about the sort of damage you will take or not take and the damage negating buffs such as flame fortification which negates 35% fire damage which really just takes 10 faith to cast and if you have decent armor the armor itself can have around 20-25% fire damage negation on it which makes you take 55 - 60% less fire damage and that's a metric shit ton of damage considering the damage enemies will do and ontop of that you could have talismans further boosting that damage negation, which means that maybe instead of investing up to 60 points into vigor you could probably make do with just 40 vigor and smarter item equipments and using buffs that pretty much anyone can afford to get can make you a whole lot more durable for a lot less stat investment and obviously this goes also for lower levels too. now for endurance, it's actually a lot more important of a stat than i think anyone realises more than just for armor reasons, now i think any spell caster kinda skips out completely on endurance because they aren't really walking around in heavy armor or think they need that much stamina because they aren't really swinging weapons around, but endurance is still important namely being on low equipment load actually gives you some benefits as you get faster backsteps and the dodge rolls just becomes longer in terms of distance meaning you can get out of a sticky situation a lot easier if and keep enemies at range more easily if you were on low equip load, and if you actually wanted to invest into some heavier armor you could and be comfortably in medium equip load and take a lot less damage. but also a fact casters typically miss about casting is that casting actually takes stamina to cast spells so it is a bit necessary after spamming away you might not be able to spam away so freely because the stamina is just fully depleted and then you have enemies ontop of you and you probably have low to no stamina to get away and probably will die as a consequence of being overrun. another and more easy tip, some spells can be cast from horseback, you just need your spell or incantation casting equipment in your main hand, this really makes roaming around the map a whole lot easier and more worth since you can just toss out some spells for fun and get some free runes or items while just roaming around or dealing with certain bosses etc when you can be mounted.

Really great video, which I ran across cause I'm already a sub. Good, helpful stuff, half of which I didn't know, and well-presented. But it also triggered my at times wanting to just delete this game for some of the cheap, lazy, player-trolling it does. Like the reloading clearing the wooden boxes. How does 'git gud' or no hand-holding pertain to nonsense like this? If you didn't by chance happen to reload in one of those areas, how would you ever know? Too much stuff like that throughout the game. But thanks again for a nice job with the video.

I dropped the like soon as I entered the video, seeing that the video is by you. The Zelda sound effects are funny. About a weapon from another game, I don't know, any gun perhaps? The allure of a juxtaposition of a modern firearm and a medieval fantasy setiting seems too strong to go unnoticed.
