The T-34 was a Soviet medium tank that had a profound and lasting effect on the field of tank design. Although its armour and armament were surpassed later in the war, it has often been credited as the most effective, efficient and influential tank design of the Second World War. At its introduction, the T-34 possessed an unprecedented combination of firepower, mobility, protection and ruggedness. Its 76.2 mm (3 in) high-velocity tank gun provided a substantial increase in firepower over any of its contemporaries;[6] its heavy sloped armour was difficult to penetrate by most contemporary anti-tank weapons. When first encountered in 1941, the German tank general von Kleist called it "the finest tank in the world" and Heinz Guderian confirmed the T-34's "vast superiority" over existing German armour of the period.
The T-34 was the mainstay of Soviet armoured forces throughout the Second World War. Its design allowed it to be continuously refined to meet the constantly evolving needs of the Eastern Front: as the war went on it became more capable, but also quicker and cheaper to produce. Soviet industry would eventually produce over 80,000 T-34s of all variants, allowing steadily greater numbers to be fielded as the war progressed despite the loss of thousands in combat against the German Wehrmacht. Replacing many light and medium tanks in Red Army service, it was the most-produced tank of the war, as well as the second-most-produced tank of all time (after its successor, the T-54/55 series).Its evolutionary development led directly to the T-54/55 series of tanks, and from there to the T-62, T-72, and T-90 tanks that, along with several Chinese tanks based on the T-55, form the backbone of many armies even today. T-34 variants were widely exported after World War II and as late as 1996 were still in service in at least 27 countries.
The IS Tank (in Cyrillic "ИС", meaning the Joseph Stalin or Iosif Stalin in Cyrillic "Ио́сиф Ста́лин") was a series of heavy tanks developed as a successor to the KV-series by the Soviet Union during World War II. The heavy tank was designed with thick armor to counter German 88 mm guns and carried a main gun capable of defeating Tiger and Panther tanks. It was mainly a breakthrough tank, firing a heavy high-explosive shell that was useful against entrenchments and bunkers. The IS-2 went into service in April 1944 and was used as a spearhead by the Red Army in the final stage of the Battle of Berlin.

Т44 и ИС3 не участвовали во второй мировой войне. 44 к концу войны было изготовлено всего 190, и к 1947 году их было уже 1823, в 1970х их сняли с вооружения. В общем этот танк не воевал, он относится к семейству послевоенных машин. ИС 3 тоже не успел принять участие в боевых действиях, лишь в сентябре 1945 года он принял участие в параде в Берлине. На видео про КВ-1, представлена его поздняя модификация КВ-1с (скоростной) с литой башней, 76мм орудием ЗИС 5. Первые КВ-1 имели усиленное бронирование, сварную башню, но менее мощное орудие Л11.

Nathan Peterson: Effective in a way that they were able to destroy many German tanks, while at the same time, the Germans had a hard time to destroy the T-34, because of its sloped armour. Only when the Tiger 1 came, it changed and the Russians had to build the more heavier IS-2.

I love the Russians tanks, in addition to their simple construction, the are very good in price performance and working at wind and weather and just the SU 100 has it done to me PLus the KV 6 and the T 34/85 version. Very powerful tanks probably better than anything the rest of the world had only garbage against against the Germans who had better tanks but the only compared in very small numbers to the Russians tanks.

И та же история у Т 34 85 и Т 44, только у Т 44 другая компановка из за чего он короче Т 34. А длинна танка сильно влияет на монёвренность, и Т 44 будет монёвреннее чем Т 34 в любой модификации.
