I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with Mr Ballen here. I mean call the police? And say what exactly? There's a bunch of cans on my stairs or doors slamming? When they come out and find no intruders what do you think they're going to do? Nothing, I mean what can they do? When they did seek help from someone who might actually help, like priests no one would help them. I don't know there's much more they could have done. Maybe call some psychics or paranormal investigators.

@montauk081 If the police took them seriously, they would look in all those places, excluding walls and find nothing. They'd either chalk it up to a prank by the caller or the person is no longer in the home. It would happen again and yield similar results. This would be true if the homeowners took a sledgehammer to the walls. The police would have to see it with their own eyes. Videos can be doctored qnd people lie all the time. Obviously, there was something supernatural occurring in these homes.

I think it's so nice how the 911 operators were respectful and kind to the elderly woman who kept calling 911.
@zknight4481Күн бұрын
Respectful and kind but couldn’t be bothered to send even one officer to check on a clearly demented, unwell woman who they were well aware had lost touch with reality and was living entirely on her own with no way to care for herself, until she was literally screaming bloody murder on the phone. Idk about you but that isn’t respectful or kind. There’s a very big difference between *civility* and *kindness*. They were polite while they let her slowly die- alone, in a cold, dark house because she didn’t even have enough grasp on reality to pay the electric bill- but they damn sure weren’t kind and there’s no respect in leaving a fellow human to die that way when your whole job is to prevent such a tragedy.

My rounds included 7 buildings, including the field house. I _always_ had my head on a swivel. Eventually, after some creepy incidents, “someone” complained to the admin about a female doing rounds. Had a similar experience to your first story, here in Australia. When I was 20yrs old, a workmate of a good friend of mine, had 2 spare rooms on large property with an old farm house and was looking for people to rent them cheap. He was a few years older than me and my friend and we decided to take him up on the offer. The persons whose house it was just had a split with his fiancé and wanted to rent the rooms really cheap. We moved all our stuff there but spent most of our times at our girlfriends houses or parents. We went "home" the rooms we rented for a weekend. And Kalem the person who’s house it was said that he had been talking to his ex fiancé again (who had moved from Queensland to Northern Territory, where they both originally met each other and grew up). And wanted to know if we wanted to continue renting the whole house for the same cheap price, while he flew to Northern Territory to try rekindle his relationship. We took him up on the offer and with in the first few weeks we started noticing some strange stuff. First time it happened, one night we decided to drive to town to do some food shopping. Soon as we returned and opened the door every door and draw had been opened in the house but the house was fully locked with a protective pit bull my friend had inside. Every cupboard and draw in the kitchen and bathroom including fridge, deep freezer. Every draw and wardrobe door in our bedrooms. Basically anything that could be opened was opened, with nothing stolen or moved. We initially thought somehow an intruder had made entry and somehow befriended the dog, and taken off and locked the door behind him as we come up the driveway. Unlikely but it was the only explanation so we searched the paddock with torches and thought that must of fled. Then it happened again about a week later while we were at work. Then randomly once every week or two. We even went and made a police report and had them come and take photos and send forensics team. We still had ourselves convinced that someone was showing up when no one was home. Even though we started sticking string on the doors to see if that had been open and pieces of dowel in the tracks of each window so they couldn’t be opened. Everything would be untouched but someone had entered our house and exited without breaking the string or window or removing dowel. We still convinced ourselves it was an intruder playing some messed up games. The final draw was when it happened while we were home asleep. I woke up to my mates dog in my bedroom scared whimpering trying to curl itself into the back corner of my room. I had never seen his dog scared like this or even scared at all so was awoken and walked over towards him. Then stared hearing doors and draws in the kitchen. Straight away from my mates bedroom I heard him yell my name and is that you. I was like NO, and your dog is in my room whimpering. We both walked out to the kitchen at the same time and watched the fridge shut and then open. We just both freaked and went wtf. Grant the friend I lived with said get my dog, we both went to my room to get him and literally couldn’t drag him out of the room. We both checked the bathroom and all the doors/draws were still closed. Both went to the kitchen where every draw door was open. And it didn’t feel right. We both agreed to check room by room together. Got back to the bathroom and everything was open. At this stage whenever we mentioned anything other than an intruder messing with us we just went nahh it’s some intruder playing games, Possibly a drug addict trying to entertain himself. Until this night, we were like nope, this is some weird stuff happening. We called the guys house it was who moved back to Northern Territory to explain what has been happening. He explained that that’s why his wife originally left. They were fighting because weird stuff was happening to her while she was home and he didn’t believe her. Then he encountered some weird stuff after she left when he was home by himself. Hence why he was offering cheap rooms to his work mates. He never told us because he thought we would either think his crazy or wouldn’t move in. We packed our stuff that day and I moved back to my parents temporarily and my friend moved into his girlfriends. Years later a old episode of unexplained mysteries (old Australian tv show) was playing and I noticed the had a episode with the old church that was 15mins down the road from the old place we rented with the strange activity. We lived within a 20min radius of the church and is one of the oldest churches in south east Queensland and built and occupied by a family that migrated from England. I called my friend and said you need to watch this episode and explained the church near where we used to leave was going to be in it. The episode explained in the early 1800’s that the family built the church even though there was no near by town in hopes it would bring people to establish a town near the site of the church. It never took off and was used by only one or two families who owned farms half a hour or so away. One of the near by families went to visit the church one day and found the whole family had been murdered. The youngest child who was an infant was never found and the bodies seemed to be mutilated by what seemed to be a lion (don’t exist in Australia). A investigation was done at the time and they never had any leads or arrests. The episode takes a lot of supernatural and weird experiences that have been documented at the church over the years. Also the family that owned the church had discovered an ancient indigenous sacred dance sight less than 500m from the church site. My friend called back straight away telling me how he doesn’t tell ppl so he doesn’t get judged for being crazy and I fully understand. It’s been 19yrs since I lived there and still to this day I have no idea who or what it was. I’ve spent many random nights over the years laying in bed racking my brain trying to come up with a sensible explanation and always end up stumped. A indigenous elder I told a few years back said if he went in with some different burning leaves they use, he could have rid the evil spirits. But I still don’t know and probably never will.

I was a security guard yrs ago while in college and was assigned to a warehouse that, according to my sgt. they couldn’t keep people on that site. It only had one working shift, daylight shift, they only had security there after dark as it was in a rough neighborhood. Knowing I had worked in other large buildings alone without issues he assigned me there.. Shift one, he actually took me through the build himself, as no one else would come out to show me around. He said we’ll go through a couple times together for me to know my way around.. One half the building you needed a flashlight just to see your way around.. by the third round he said we”ll do this then I’m leaving, 1/2 way through we found a door open that wasn’t on the last round. We looked everywhere in the facility and found no one. At that point he said I’ll allow a firearm so I went out to my car and got my sidearm, he also called the office and told them he was staying on site for another hour. Next time around there was lights on that were not earlier. The security system was on , no door alarms were going off, just like previous checks. He reached out to the mgr of the facility and was told no one was allowed in after 5:00 PM. My sgt decided he was staying the whole shift, with each trip around the building there was something else, lights on doors open strange noises. By sun up we were glad to be out of there.. I was on that building for 2 weeks by myself with the exception I was allowed to have my dog partner I used at other facilities, even the dog was spooked. At the end of the 2 weeks I was there the company gave up the contract. In the 2 weeks my sgt was out multiple times and walked around with me and experienced the same types of things we did when he was there the first time. That was an experience..

That first story gives me chills because it’s close to what I’ve had happen. I never believed in ghosts or spirits or whatever you wanna call it until I bought an old farm house 7 years ago. I’ve had so much crazy shit happen. Things getting moved to weird places or disappearing altogether. I watched a glass move across the counter one time by itself like an invisible bartender gave it a slide. Heard clear as day a voice of a young girl say …….oh, hello there. One day every time I would walk into the kitchen the same kitchen cabinet door would be wide open, probably happening 20 times that day, never happened before or since. Went through a period where the clock on the wall would be set exactly 2 hours ahead of the actual time. All kinds of weird stuff! Edit: I never talked about any of this until recently as it made a guy feel kinda crazy telling anyone this, but after all the comments I’ve got in less than 24 hours of people having the same issues it feels somewhat reassuring to hear I’m not alone, thanks to everyone that has commented! 👍

Mr. B really seems like a genuine guy who has worked his tail off to make it this far and now people want to make him out to be a bad guy. I’d rather see someone like this doing something that they love and making it than to see these ungrateful kids making content that’s actually pranking people or showing other kids what they shouldn’t be doing; and the only reason they’re getting away with what they’re doing is bc they have money now. If anyone else tried to do what these young people were doing, they’d be arrested. I’m just not understanding any hate that he’s getting and why more people aren’t happy for him. Mr. Ballen! I grew up and currently live in Amityville! Yes, the house is still there. The exterior (and the address) has been changed; the creepy windows are gone and there’s different siding now. If you’re from there you know it’s the house across from the stop sign lol After the murders, Ronald DeFeo actually went to work that morning like nothing happened. When he came back from work, he either went home, “discovered” his family, and then ran to the bar OR he went straight to the bar from work. I’m not sure. It’s still a creepy house to be around. I remember I’d go trick or treating and Christmas caroling while I was in the Girl Scouts and we’d go on Ocean Avenue. No one ever came to the door when we’d knock on it. The bar he ran to is long gone and is now a seafood restaurant. Not sure if the house is still haunted, but I still get an uneasy feeling being in front of the house.

That amityville photo is pretty famous, but there is a pretty convincing case to be made that the "amityville ghost boy" is just a picture of Paul Bartz, who was a local resident that the Warrens hired to help them with their investigation during their time in Amityville. He later admitted that he was in the house when people were taking photos, and the "glowing eyes" in the photo were caused because the photo was taken with infrared film. The warrens didn't "fake" it on purpose more than likely, just that he so happened to accidentally get caught in a photo the Warrens were taking, as he was probably trying to avoid being in the photo completely and didn't realize it was being taken, and then the warrens played dumb as to who the boy could be.

The Amityville story has already been debunked as made up years ago. The son was suffering from mental illness, and there was never any paranormal activity. Anything the Warrens touched is suspect. Since their death, people have admitted they were paid to create articles backing up their claims, and that they bought their "haunted" items from them (with receipts, literally or figuratively speaking). Anyone who still believes in the Amityville story is woefully behind the times, since the exposé was done in the 80s, I believe. It may have been the 90s, but I remember reading about it, because the book and movie scared me as a child, so to hear about all of the details of how it was faked from the author of the book, among others, was an interesting read/watch on tv programs. I doubt there was anything accidental about the photo. They were caught faking it, so they pretended it was. Allegedly.

Umm human traffic... can't finish the word cause youtube will block the comment. Far more serious than made up ghost stories, the videos don't prove anything tbh. Also missing people is massive worldwide. But 200k people go missing a year in the US. Australia is on par with 25k

@@MydieLy tbh that doesn’t sound like the reaction of someone who actually wants people to know about the disappearances or spread awareness. He might’ve been the one to gather the stories in one place, but trying to claim a bunch of crimes as “yours” is actually so messed up.
@MydieLy2 ай бұрын
@@atodeblue it IS messed up. He made a ton of money with it and now he's afraid someone might steal his thunder. And tbf, he ramped up the mystcism of these cases. Many of these aren't even that mysterious when told in a serious way. Paulides just claimed so many things as "impossible", while they are not. For example, distances travelled by people - spoken from standpoint of a people who usually don't walk much in their daily lives and always use cars - that colours your perception of distances a human would travel "normally". Or places "impossible to reach" or "with very dense underbrush" - spoken from the POV of a searching adult much bigger and with a lot higher up center of gravity while looking for a child. Children, like smaller forest animals can weasel through spots impassable for adults and their energy level is often comparably higher than that of adults. Especially if you actually *let* them be outdoors for a length of time. Of course, if you only ever experience your child in house and in front of screens before they go missing, the distances they travel and the energy they develop might seem impossible to you Bottom line: as someone who has studied a lot of these 411 cases compiled by Paulides, most of them are not that inexplainable from an outsiders perspective

The first story is true it happened very near to where I used to live. I have heard of this from word of mouth before it came into television and social media. The entire area if it the story I’m thinking of is a hot bed of demonic energy. I have personally, I’m not a kook, I swear, but I have personally been pushed down a flight of stairs when a friend of mine who is sensitive to psychic energy decided to investigate this abandoned house that seemed fine by all normal standards, so my friend took off running down the stairs startled by something and in the decades I’ve known him, I have never seen him run, so I’m not stupid I follow him. He had just got to the bottom of the stairs and I was half way down, but I was slammed by a force it felt like a brick wall hit me and launched me into the air and I luckily landed on my friends back because he was so tall and I was so short. I just yelled “run!”into his ear and he carried me to the car where we kept running. He never told me what it was but he was very distraught and disturbed. All he would say is “Hell is real”. The house we were investigating burned to the ground not long after. And I now no longer ghost hunt because sometimes you get way more than you bargain for. To ghost hunters I tell you sometimes the ghosts are actually hunting you. Is it really worth it? But the absolute best thing you can do when under attacks that the poor family went through is boldly believe that you are saved by the blood of Christ and you boldly proclaim to the evil that “I am covered in the blood of Jesus” and it can not touch you. Because you are reminding it that you have been spoken for, that you have been purchased by the blood of Jesus. You will see that there is power in his name and it will hopefully bring you back into his fold. Because as my friend saw evil and all he could say is “Hell is real” think about that.

Yup, I do. Been watching videos since the start of the 1st lockdown. Of late I just check in occasionally to see of its an old story being retold or an actual new story I've yet to hear. I've been watching Danielle King (I think her name is) who posts a brand new story every Sunday evening. She's also a great story teller and goes into great detail in all her videos. I've watches her for a while now, she's managed to build up to 1 million followers. I wish Mr Ballen would put up more original content instead of rehashed old stories retold over again. But whatever, it's his channel and his way of making $.

Pffft! Look up Ron DeFeo Jr. He had a volatile relationship with his dad. After he murdered his family, he asked about his dad's life insurance policy. He was convicted and died in prison. The book written by the Lutz family was totally fabricated, to make money off of a mass murder tragedy.

And most likely made up to help the defense and to help peddle the Warren’s story. A man who was and alcoholic and addict should be believed about hearing or seeing something? Isn’t that something addicts / alcoholics are known for - seeing and hearing things?

I don't care how horrible it got, there's just no way in hell I would call the police on some sort of ghost or poltergeist. I've spent most of my 23 year background in nursing working in psych/mental/behavioral health hospitals and I would much rather work there than become a patient!
