My Virgin Kitchen I haven't even watched the video yet... But milo tip... Three tablespoons of milo, fill half the glass with milk, another tablespoon, mix, more milk, another tablespoon and stir... Though I hated milk and am lactose intolerant so I pick more milo than milk... You stirred your milo wayyyyy too much! You eat the milky chunks of powder... Such a crime! First off... Echidna is pronounced Ekidna... I live in Australia and I remember the animals being imprinted on the furry friends. My dad's from England so i've had both cadbury dairy milks and they taste the same but I do notice that when it gets imported/shipped it tastes like it's breaking down and a bit powdery :( Everyone complains about the amount of vegemite people put on toast/bread but that was a pretty good amount, it's definitely an acquired taste. That was waaay too much butter for the fairy bread though lol

If I'm making Milo in a cup the size of the one in the video, I'd put at least 5 tablespoons in and one teaspoon of raw sugar, then a bit of boiling water to dissolve the Milo, stir, then add milk and mix again. If I am using a mug like you use for tea or coffee, use 3 tablespoons of Milo. In regards to the Light and Tangy chips, there's no ingredients in that particular pack because they come in sharepacks.... like a big bag with like 10 other chips inside. The ingredients are on the outside of the big pack. Parents put them in their kid's lunch boxes. Light and Tangy have tomato powder, pepper, paprika, onion or garlic powder and a couple others, as well as parsley.

You can use vegemite to give homemade gravy flavour - once you've finished cooking your meat, add water and flour to the pan like normal, and then a little bit of vegemite - like maybe a quarter teaspoon, just a fingernail sized blob - and it just beefs up the flavour like stock would.

milo is best when you place 2-3 tablespoons into the bottom of a DRY cup then hold the spoon 2cm above the milo in the cup. then pour milk onto the spoon (this evenly covers the milo, keeping it in a big clump on the bottom.) once milk is added use spoon as a shovel and slowly dig for milo. scoop up milo as it bubbles to the surface and eat lol

ok, I'm Aussie and I'll help you out a little, the Milo you need 30% Milo in the glass first then add half the glass of milk then stir for a minute then top up with milk, you eat the floaty bits with a spoon then drink the milk, the chips don't have ingredients because they are snack size and come from the shop in a larger bag with many snack size packets inside, the ingredients are on the large bag, echidna is pronounced ekidna, and I do remember the animals being printed on the actual chocolate but not anymore, Iced Vovo used to come more puffy, I guess Arnotts just got cheap and finally sorry to tell you but fairy bread must be cut once on the diagonal, so triangles. love your vids keep up the good work.

How can you follow the manufacturer directions for Milo before reading your note? Needs an extra scoop (or three), the directions are just so they can get a healthyish star rating for something full of sugar. Also traditionally popular straight from the tin or on ice cream as well. (Tastes different to the Milo in New Zealand or Malaysia, Aus is the original). Natural Chip company is not very popular but semi common in the supermarkets. Pizza shape is the most popular shapes. Vegemite is an abomination that should be purged from this planet. Historically waste product from beer manufacturing that was too toxic for the environment to dump Just to start a fire storm, fairy bread should be margarine for the base, bread looks right

Errors, observations and corrections. 1. Arnotts is not pronounced Are-knots. It's more like Arn-its. Echidna is ee-kid-na 2. The Shapes you have been sent are the new "improved" shapes that no one likes and there is a huge protest movement nationwide to try and get Arnotts to reinstate the original recipe. 3. You're the only person on the planet who's ever managed to stir Milo to the stage where it's dissolved completely. You're supposed to have a thick crust of crunchy bits floating on the top which adds texture as you drink it. 4. Cadbury Dairy Milk. We live not far from the Cadbury factory in Tasmania and ever since the company was taken over by Kraft foods the quality has gone downhill. They even closed the visitors centre, so no more cheap chocolate binge buys for us. Kraft has done so much damage to Australian iconic brands that people were boycotting anything with a Kraft label on it. So Kraft's fix for that was to change the name of the company that handles their non-American products to Mondelez International which meant that even Vegemite no longer wears the Kraft logo. And while we're on the subject of Vegemite, even that was changed by Kraft many years ago. It' used to be yeast extract and flavours which turned out to be red wine and onion. After that was revealed, in the 80's I think it was, Kraft changed the recipe to silence all the old grannies who were complaining about the wine content, even though they'd grown up eating the stuff since they were babies themselves. 5. Iced VoVos. This is another classic favourite that Arnott's ruined on us. It used to have big fluffy peaks, like you said you were used to on your country's version, but over the years Arnotts have downsized the ingredient volumes to the point where if you removed the biscuit base you'd be able to hold the fondant layer up to the moonlight and see a soft pink glow through it. We get fluffier peaks on the cheaper generic brand versions. Where Arnott's used to be the top quality choice for bikkies in Australia, now they're just the most expensive and a lot of other brands do better.... except for the Tim Tam. No one's ever managed to make a good Tim Tam clone.... Even Arnott's can't do a good Tim Tam clone as we discovered when they introduced the Peanut Butter Tim Tam which tastes nothing like peanut butter because it doesn't have any actual peanuts in the thing. Coca Cola Australia have followed suit by releasing a Coca Cola Ginger variety that doesn't have any actual ginger in it. 6. The chip packets you have are from a variety bag, so the ingredient list is on the large bag they came in. We are supposed to have ingredients on the packaging, but apparently there's a loophole and if the individual packets themselves have "Not for individual sale", or something along those lines, written on them then the ingredients only need to be on the sealed outer bag that holds the individual bags. The Light and Tangy chips contain potatoes, vegetable oil, salt, maltodextrin (maize), sugar, whey powder, food acids (282, 330), herbs and spices, flavour enhancer (621), flavors (soy), vegetable powders (onion, tomato), cheese powder. Contains milk and soy. May contain gluten. The Honey Soy Chicken chips contains potatoes, vegetable oil, sugar, salt, glucose, natural flavour (including soy and chicken), vegetable extract, maltodextrin, dextrin, honey powder, corn starch, vegetable powders (onion, garlic), spice, colours (paprika extract, caramel 1, curcumin, annatto). Contains soy. May contain milk. 7. "Chuck another shrimp on the barbie!".... this is the equivalent of Australians drinking Fosters Lager. It just doesn't happen. First of all, we don't call them shrimps. They're prawns. Second of all, we don't barbecue them. We boil them, then peel them, then eat them. That's it. Occasionally someone will get fancy and peel them raw so they can stir fry them in a chilli infused oil, but that's extremely rare. We don't chuck "shrimps" on the barbie any more than we eat "Bloomin' Onions", but that's another story involving an American restaurant chain that markets itself as Australian, yet doesn't serve anything that's even remotely Australian simply because the two guys that created the chain didn't bother to look up what Australians actually eat and just made stuff up to put on the menu. 8. One final point. I don't really know what your mother is on, but she seems to be enjoying it. Can we have the recipe please?

NubglummerySnr hahaha you legend. And yea how the hell did he stir all that milo
@Jenbaxtr8 жыл бұрын
NubglummerySnr you do realise that everyone is allowed to have an opinion/preference about different things, if I were you I wouldn't come on this section of KZbin and talk about people's mothers like that, Barry's mom was just doing that to be funny/entertaining for the viewers
@Vince_Steele8 жыл бұрын
Pence 2016, you do realise that everyone is allowed to have an opinion/preference on different things? Which is why I was giving my opinion/preference on different things? Or maybe you don’t because you’re actually trying to suppress my opinion/preference about different things, which means you don't practice what you preach. As for Barry’s mum, I was pointing out how happy she is and asked for the recipe. Stop trying to make everything a negative. You may end up enjoying your own company more 'cos it's very unlikely anyone else does.
@Jenbaxtr8 жыл бұрын
How dare you speak to me like that, can I ask you something, how long did it take for you to write your 'errors and complaints' list, let me guess that was the sole purpose of your day to write a negative comment about the video which was quite frankly a comedic and entertainment filled video which I enjoyed greatly. However, people like yourself come on this section of KZbin and comment cruel things about the youtubes content or videos. If you need to express your feelings, go somewhere else and comment on another yourubers videos, and by the way I didn't say anything about you not expressing your opinion, I said "I wouldn't comment publically controversial opinions about video content" So please get a life

Ps - those Cadburys bars were called Wildlife Bars and they did indeed have a moulded impression of an animal shape on the bar. And those marshmallow biscuits are called Jambourees - and are much bigger in the UK (I'm told they're still.available in places such as Poundland).
