Ingredients list:
Dough for the Galette
160g plain flour, plus more for dusting
1tbsp sugar
Pinch salt
110g unsalted butter, cubed and chilled
1tbsp apple cider vinegar (optional, use more water if not)
60ml cold water
1 egg, beaten
2tbsp demerara sugar, for sprinkling on top
Salted Caramel Sauce
100g sugar
1/2 tsp salt, plus more to taste as it cools
1tbsp butter
120ml double cream, plus an extra drizzle for serving
Apple Pie Filling
700g granny smith apples (approx 6) - Cored, peeled and sliced
1tbsp lemon juice
Zest of half a lemon (optional)
½ tsp cinnamon
70g sugar
1tbsp butter
