you figuring out the mechanics for the wheat farm machine was so funny. To put it simply, low enough light level means you can't plant the seeds, at this light level, any seeds already planted will break. But in order for the seeds to break, they need to be updated, usually by a block being broken/placed next to them. That's why it sometimes broken when you "gave it more light", it was in fact just updating the seeds, the seeds realised that even with the block gone it isn't enough light, and then they broke.

12:36 The seed needs to be updated that's why when you put or remove a block beside it the seed breaks because it has no light anymore (and it has been updated)

You could do a deflated/ crashed hot air balloon in the empty space next to the tavern. You could also do a silo for the wheat possibly.

BTW: “Corn” still retains its older & more general meaning of any grain, and it can be applied to the grain’s plant. So “corn field” is technically fine for a wheat field.

your vids are so good! the builds OMG they're amazing!!! maybe a small butcher could be built in that small area at 5:36, you can put another chicken smelter in there or make one for sheep to harvest wool or leather with cows. also thinking maybe a small camp with tents would look cool, in between the farm and the village to give it the vibe of "it takes a day to travel".

I love the windmill! I noticed you have some polished diorite in your windmill sails, maybe adding in some mushroom stems could give a little more weathered look. Either way, beautiful build!

hey, i just caught up to the series and i have a suggestion. in the tavern, the dripping from the ceiling is quite annoying and i think it would be good to try putting some slabs or something on the ceiling to stop that.
