The pipe going down to sea level is actually 100% accurate. Because off-shore rigs are dealing with highly flammable liquids and gases at all times they have to have Fire Water Protection Pumps to basically run sprinkler heads around the structure. That needs a lot of water, and the sensible thing to get that is drag it out of the sea. The only difference is that normally there’s a pump to push the water up rather than one at deck level to pull it. Other than that 10/10 as always Beardy!

Not to "uhm actually", but only deep sea oil rigs float, the ones in shallow water (like this one) are usually built on the ocean floor. Jack up oil rigs, the type that uses legs that attach to the sea floor, operate in waters up to 120-150m deep. This covers any minecraft ocean, so yes... Your legs should go all the way to the bottom. We may, however, ignore it like we do the other "floating builds" in minecraft. Just do not spend a lot of time swimming around the bottom of the legs and no one will notice. :)

The thing is, Minecraft oceans don't run as deep as they do in real life, so accounting for the world's inaccurate vertical scale, floating legs could be seen as accurate for in-game. Otherwise, ALL Minecraft oil rigs would have to reach the sea floor.

@@festivizednugget1288 well you aren't gonna get a good illlusion of high speed spinning that way. also I am not 100% sure what you could use to make them spin. if it needs rotational force you would have the problem of getting it up there without anyone seeing a shaft going up top the heli. and a wind mill sspins quite slowly, especially for helicopter blades.

Maybe multiple rows of drills with a block space between them for smaller mobs to slip through? It means the mobs that enter the contraption like giant squids or whales would be killed but it would also mean nothing is killing the guardians too often. Alternatively you could reduce the chance of something entering to kill guardians by putting in walls around the border of the farm but that'd look ugly

Regarding the getting sick on/shortly after holiday: There is this theory called open gap syndrom. When we are stressed, our body releases stress hormones that keep us going and among other things shift our immune system into a higher awareness mode. Once the stress is gone, the stress hormone concentration lowers and with that the immune system is dialed down as well. But here's the point: It is lowered below the starting level it initially had before the stress and remains there for some time until it regenerates. This timespan is called the open gap and because our immune levels are lower, we are more likely to get ill.
