I didn't really like Jimmy's final responses to some of the allegations. Out of the ones Oompa did bring up, he either shifted blame, said he didn't know, or said he was too dumb, and Oompa didn't pushback, only towards the end did he give some pushback when it came to the crypto subject

Yeah, and some of the stuff he was even found guilty of and decided "I'll just throw money at it" which although is a way to make up for the bad stuff he's done, it doesn't change that he was still guilty of that stuff; which still shows (to me at least) that the image Mr Beast had of this amazing altruistic guy that everyone could look up to is completely broken for me. (Not to mention he didn't even bring up that he's worked with known scammer/all around bad person Logan Paul, and didn't bring up the Kris Tyson stuff in the interview)

Jimmy still likely knew about Ava’s inappropriate behavior, Jimmy still clearly has some sort of toxic work environment, (his mom’s role in the company, firsthand accounts of “frat-like behavior”) He’s still clearly a money motivated person with very little principles or care for others, he still frequently misleads his audience of children, advertising as environmentally friendly and then advertising for wasteful products, advertising Feastables as “sl**ery free” and then going back on it. Lunchly, his constant brand deals, and associations with people like Logan Paul. He just like… isn’t faking videos, which like… who actually cares if he is or not?

Pretty disappointed in the oompa interview. I knew going he wasn’t exactly a journalist however I do feel that far too much time was spent on the stuff the that doesn’t really matter in the greater context of things. I also feel that in answer to some of the serious allegations (mostly because some were entirely dodged) he managed to give pretty unsatisfactorily short answers where it would’ve been best to push him on the matter. Many of the facts haven’t changed- even if MrBeast allegedly doesn’t control his own crypto wallets his team has not only done morally poor things but also borderline illegal activity. At the end of the day- MrBeast is paying them and im not entirely confident he is utterly unaware of their activity considering his posts on twitter. He didn’t get nearly pushed enough regarding the food he’s produce- saying essentially it happens to everyone is not satisfactory because it’s still their burden and responsibility. This list is so long. Rewatching the allegations then watching the interview it becomes apparent how little depth was given to true crux of the situation.

However, I don’t think jimmy was pushed nearly enough regarding the topic. It’s a good point to mention the sudden appearance of the mask on the individual. It’s not necessarily something jimmy couldn’t clear up but on its own it’s certainly suspicious.

If I were to call a worker at best buy, their name, I would look at their name tag and refer to them as such. At best buy the only name displayed was Delaware. The idea that Feastables are etichally sourced is laughable. If you know literally anything about the chocolate industry it's that cocoa farmers are often exploited so bad to the point that child labor is a guarantee with any product containing cocoa. Saying that out of all the bars on the shelves yours is the one that can somehow both pay the farmers their fair share and be profitable is an insult to the concept of intelligence itself.

So debunking it by saying he hired him when he was 19 and didn't know doesn't really mean anything because he continued to work there when people knew and he had to have aswell
