I just wish that Mr beast would do more research on the psychological effects of his confinement challenges. Like watching a 20 minute video on the classic Stanford prison experiment can really show the impact that one of his challenges can have. Of course this experiment was an extreme case and extremely unethical but can also show how even something that starts off with good intentions can spiral into a psychological detriment to the contestants. Even if they have the ability to leave, the money and power that is dangled in front of them truly makes one believe that they are trapped and its just I wish Mr beast would just stop the confinement videos. They can really mess up the psyche of normal healthy people.

So his conclusion that it's natural for humans to abuse power to such a degree is false. But the point OP was making about the detriment of confinement is not impacted by this. Students were genuinely subjected to unfair treatment and begging to be released and he manipulated them into staying. Their trauma was real and OPs point stands.

I mean being strip searched, dehumanised and forced to do humiliating things and not be allowed to sleep is inherently torture. I read an interesting journal that even suggested one of the 'guards' he hired was a 'professional dominant' (presumably a kinkster). Which is just... wild. That journal was very old and they spoke to past participants including guards and it's just wild in all my psychology courses none of the lecturers have ever shown knowledge of that journal and still promote the study as poor methodology but important data. It was always obvious bogus to me even before I had more obvious evidence of complete forgery in the study but... it's actually shocking there were very early whistle blowers who got ignored to this very day.

Very inconsiderate of Mr Beast to not wait until after you’d healed from your eye surgery before finally responding! He’s the worst!! Also on the note of the title, because let’s be real that’s why we’re all here, I’ve been thinking about how I feel about this since Mr Beast said he’s going to have to sue Dawson. On one hand, I think it’s fucking insane when big companies go after small people and crush them. Like you’re going to destroy their life, you know that they’re never going to be able to buy a house, never be able to support a family, probably never have a decent job. Dawson is a young guy, should a mistake like this impact him in that way? And the answer I’ve come to is.. yeah, he does. Let’s be real, if Dawson had done this all in good faith it would be one thing, but he manipulated the facts, purposefully, to trick the audience into being angry at Mr Beast. I don’t like Mr Beast and yes, I felt vindicated, but everyone including me said “he’s worse than we thought” and no, no he’s not. That’s the major problem. He’s still as bad as we thought, he’s just not worse than we thought. It’s not like his impact was a small one, he’s cost them millions, it’s going to cost people their jobs, it’s going to slow the philanthropic work that Mr Beast does (which I’m not saying he’s the best guy for the job but credit where it’s due, at least he tries. He does more for the world than most of us.) With all that in mind, I think the punishment should be severe, because how narcissistic do you have to be to do this all for a personal vendetta?

I agree! The salted Carmel is the best flavor. It’s pricy but it’s absolutely worth it just for the quality of the chocolate alone, on top of the fact they’re an ethical brand you really can’t go wrong. I’m a dark chocolate girlie through and through but Tony’s makes me love milk chocolate because unlike certain large name chocolate brands it’s not ridiculously sweet to the point it hurts my teeth. (That’s what makes me like dark chocolate. It’s usually less sweet. I have a whole ranking system but good milk chocolate is the same level of sweet as mid/bad dark chocolate in my opinion, and this definitely rings true for Tony’s.)

If proven this would the easiest cases to win defamation. Also, in CA with ani-slap laws, that's really difficult to win in general. It's harder in CA to keep Celebs suing journalists in courts. Let alone financially compensation, Mr. Beast would win that Dog Pack 404 would not be able to speak about Mr. Beast publicly any longer. If he DOES, he is fined PER incident. If he does, basically all of his wages on KZbin/ wherever would be garnished (taken and given to Mr. Beast until the debt is fulfilled). In fact, if Dog Pack loses the case and they say he owes a certain amount, they would work out a payment plan. If he defaults on THAT, his wages would be garnished the same way.

I do think you should watch the whole thing, but pay attention to Jimmy's mannerisms, his word choices, and how many times he attacks (not JUST addressing misinformation) others who are criticizing him. Regardless on which criticisms were truth and weren't truth, in an interview where you are trying to clear your name and debunk misconceptions, attacking other people just aint it. He also talks about how many years ago something was with such an exaggeration like he thinks it being years ago absolves him from accountability of how his uninformed decisions actually harmed people. Neither Caleb or Jimmy acted like they understood just how serious the allegations were, true or not. When addressing serious allegations, even if they aren't true, if you make light of them, it shows that you don't care what impact your decisions could have on others. That interview was not what Jimmy or Caleb thought it was and it didn't necessarily do what they thought it would. Most of us now have the questions of "Well why didn't you educate yourself BEFORE putting yourself under the watchful eye of MILLIONS of impressionable people?" Essentially, the interview just shows us that Jimmy is still a kid who shouldn't be in charge of a corporation until he grows up a bit more, mentally.
