Apparently in Mr Big times. The Hair Metal Band is Falling and entering of Grunge Music like Nirvanna. That's why they only have a 1 song that hits number 1 in charts. If Mr Big times was early in 10 years like at 1977 they probably most popular band in the world like The Queens and Led Zepellin. Because Music Indrustries are focusing on what genre is today which is suck.

I can't stand people complaining that Mr. Big is underrated. Is it that important to you that you like a f... huge band? Maybe they're not as big as Rolling Stones or whatever because they refused to do something outrageous or sell their souls or whatever. Think about that. So they're well and alive (except for Mr. Torpey, may he rest in peace) and you can still listen to them and enjoy ;) Let's all love them and be thankfull!

The very best of all the 80's/90's bands, hands down. Nobody ever even approached these guys. The drill gag was over a lot of people's heads, they were making fun of Malmsteen, etc.-all the "shred" guitar players. Paul is the world's greatest guitar teacher, and is hysterically funny-and doesn't take any of it seriously, never did. That is really what sets him above the rest.

Fun fact for all of you, I lived in Japan for 10 years (2010-2020), and whenever I talked music with the locals, I was frequently asked if I liked Mr. Big, to which I initially replied, "Yeah, the band that sings 'To Be With You'?" The way I was responded to then made me smile, because my friend was like, "Yes, but their real hit is Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy! That song is awesome!" Then I was like, "What song?" haha. Of course, I ended up singing Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy at karaoke every time, and it is now one of my favorite Mr. Big songs. It's just wild that a song of this caliber didn't really click with a western audience, but in Japan? It's is MASSIVE.

Back in those days the running joke was guitarists would fake being good at lead guitar by picking really fast..and it was true. Mr Big is like i'll see your fast picking and raise you a cordless drill!. It works both as a solo, and as a joke... Brilliant!

If you're a red hot fire cracker I will light your fuse If you cry like a little girl I'll dry your baby blues When you need a man of action I'm ready to make my move Like a shotgun shot, Johnny on the spot There's nothing I can't do Everything you're looking for You can find in me I'll be anything you want Anyone you need I'll be your daddy, your brother, your lover and your little boy. When your body needs salvation I'll be your tender touch I'll take all the love you give me And give you twice as much When we get undercover And do the horizontal mile I'm in the mood to answer to your call of the wild Everything you're looking for You can find in me I'll be anything you want Anyone you need Everything you're looking for Anything that you want and more I'll be your daddy, you brother, your lover and your little boy
