The whole reason why arthur died was to save john and give jack a chance to get a life and everything that john did in the epilogue and in rdr1 was to save jack and shield him from the life he lived. For me i never think that jack got revenge cause revenge was never intended. Yeah, the plans for the next RDR games is one more prequel and you will play as Dutch when he finds his people to join the gang. The last one will be a final sequel when you play as Jack and just live out his story, after all everyone seems to be dying. (I did a whole lot of Internet surfing)

I think it’d be awesome if a Red Dead 3 had you playing as Dutch and telling the origin of Arthur, John, Hosea, Micah, and the gang and how he became a notorious outlaw in the early/middle 1800’s but it would take away the main character death and post credit scene. But it would also be cool if it was about Jack Marston in the mid or early 1900’s and go through the topics of WW1 and if he had a family. Just an idea

We don't need a story about Jack Marston after this. This was the end to the final chapter of "The Wild West". Whether Jack was hunted down and hanged or whether he disappeared and lived on is not something I'd be really interested in finding out. It's one of those things that's better left to the imagination because the truth is generally disappointing. I would however, love to see someone go from being a straight arrow, becoming corrupted and tainted by the world around them and turning into a vicious outlaw, creating a gang and everything. The ending of the game being the protag getting that giant heist. The epilogue telling the story of how the gang slowly starts deteriorating and by the time you complete it, you're a solo outlaw with the blood of former comrades on your hands with a hefty price on your head.

luckyluke 1983 *April 1917 was when the US entered WWI not 1916. Our soldiers didn’t see much action until 1918 though. Even still, the Meuse Argonne battle was the deadliest the US Army ever fought (other than in the civil war). If Jack was in there... hope he survived! That would be a cool game misson

The story could start in 1919 after Jack came back from Europe as discharged WW1 soldier, and ready for one final act of American Outlaws, the Mexican Revolution. That was my headcannon; Pinkerton had too many big fish to fry than to go after an outlaw who took down one of their old hound dog Ross and Jack slipped away. Only to resurfaced when the call went out for volunteers to join Zapatista Manhunts.

I done this mission yesterday, 3rd time completing REDDEAD2... deffo one tge best ever open world games ever, i play it from 15 hours straight, at a time, games to bloody amazing, just riding around the map as johhn marston talking to and meeting strangers, going clothes shopping getting haircuts, visiting gun shops, going to the theatre most evenings and enjoy fishing, dinosaur bone hunting.. just enjoying the great outdoors and exploring the massive wildwest map of America....
