I’ve just bought the kit. I have extra washers which I am gonna fit either side of the springs. They don’t show washers either side on this video so not sure if that’s right. also you could fit the saddle springs to the mounting kit off the bike to make life easier. just leave the front mounting not fully tightened to be the length of the support right.

Just finished installing this on my 2017 Softail Slim. Cons: you'll need to remove a little metal bump thing where the rear mount bolts on the bike. A dremmel would help remove it. You'll need a minimum of 3-inch springs. The seat just sits on the back cover with the 2" springs it came with. I went with 4". The holes provided for the two front mounting bolts required a lot of work to finally get them in but I managed. Pros: very well built, looks and rides amazing once installed. If you're not handy you may want to have a shop install it. Took approx 4-hours to finish. It really does soften the ride and looks great!!

Hello William, I have a 2014 Slim which I believe is the same layout. It's been a year, how is the ride? I have a tractor style seat and am thinking about dropping the 3 bills on this kit. suggestions?

Looks awesome but my only issue is all the work to remove it when you need access to the battery, fuses and electrical connection's under the seat.

Once fitted you should just be able to remove the rear single nut on the rear support bracket and the front shoulder bolt. Just realised you have the two front screws also:(

They are not just for looks but the luxe are part of the draw. The springs actually help absorb the bumps in the road and the shape of the seat can also help with the comfort. Thank you for your interest.
