The slow acceleration probably b/c its a fast wind motor (low torque / high speed). The Graffiti X battery Samsung 50E cells in 40AH is 8 parallel which is 80A continuous / 118A peak discharge. That's what Lyric states on their website for the controller specs, and probably what they use for the ASI BAC 2000 settings. The controller is already maxed out for the battery if its doing 80A cont 120A peak. Do Kilowatt and see how many amps both tunes are using. The battery with Samsung 50E cells is the weakest link in the Graffiti X

Real question, why would they not ship the bike like this from the factory. I mean, is the slow start really necessary for what is essentially an electric moped.

Probably because they know the battery better than a bunch of people talking crap about the slow start.

@@Trillville43 If I am paying E-moto prices, I expect E-moto performance. You've got ~2.5K e-bikes that got way better starts with 60v. They also got about 40-45 mph top speeds. So if you're paying $4k+ on a bike, you expect better. Otherwise just buy a goat, or buy a talaria/e-ride/sigma. Inexcusable.

@RXR25 it's not about excuses. Some bikes are made cheaper thats just the norm and some overprice or overhype their bikes like Super73 but 2k for a bike that goes over 30mph especially with quick acceleration wasn't the norm until ariel rider x class. The Super73 could do it if you unlocked it in an app, so 32mph was achievable but that was the first and cost over 3k which was crazy. You and others want the benefit of an ebike but a motorcycle or dirt bike and that's the problem. If you have pedals that doesn't make it legal if the bike can go over 28mph and yet many are talking 40+

@@Trillville43 I do understand that, and in terms of legality you are correct 100%. But for this type of price, what I am saving up for is a Spark Cycleworks Javelin. Moped style, built in the US by a US company, and fully road legal, comes with motorcycle parts, and with a VIN so you can register it. You can put a pedal kit on it but its just a dummy, or you can get a Brute model with a single gear. I just dont think this bike is it chief.

I wonder what brand of battery they’re using and if they used intelligent discharge technology. 60V 40ah isn’t small by any means but it gets drained unusually quick on this specific bike.

@@khanrides I build battery packs and to be honest every time i see the battery on this bike It doesn't look big enough to be a 40ah pack. the size just doesnt compute with 21700 cell sizing or even lifepo4 pouch cells.

That mode button is what broke my bike when I got it. The replacement stuff comes the 30th. Hopefully that fixes and gets my bike running.

Dont forget too that they can have a speed limiter on it that field weakening isnt going to do anything for, but mostly speed is RPM based just like the fardriver app you have yo set your top rpm’s higher for it to actually go faster your top end. Its real shady that they charge 4500 and give such a horrible battery.

Nice videos! I know all the roads! From Clovis. Got a e-bike I bought many years ago I like to ride now and then. 5k w rear hub! But just a 2k controller. Two batteries - 120 miles a trip if I go slow! But Only ever do about 20 miles pat a time. Also got a 2024 Honda Monkey 125. Take it around neighborhood when I’m Board and do videos of rides I do up in the Sierras! Also do photography- Nikon p900 and a p1000. Just a beginner on the vids but enjoy doing them! Always had something with 2 wheels! From trials bikes to cruisers….anyway, really enjoy your videos cruising around town! Thank you!

I just don’t see it for 4500 bucks and a few mph. I just bought a Benelli TNT 135 Mini Moto for 2K Brand New. Plus I love my Goat OTB it runs 47 mph. Another great review.

I just went to the dark side a couple of weeks ago too. I was getting bored with the 30 mile rides on my Raev GTX so I got a brand new Honda Grom. I have already put 600 miles on it and can’t wait to get a 5 or 600 in a few months.

I’m not expert on this but The harness for the bac2000 and bac4000 should be the same. It’s just more powerful internally. Everything should work the same but you will need to copy the tune from the bac2000 to the bac4000. 72v would be nice. Just worry about the heat it will introduce through the stock wiring and the bike would need heat sinks for sure. I think I would love a 60ah battery with good cells on 60v and keep it like is but with the new tune

The company is coming out with a new controller...possibly a software update to fix the slow start and you will be able to keep your warranty.
