I still have the original from Steyr. Steyr Mannlicher later sold the patent for the TSP/SPP to B&T and then the weapon was called the TP9. If I had to choose a weapon after the apocalypse, it would be this one. Indestructible, simple, fairly precise, light and easy to use. Since all the moving parts were designed to withstand the stress of a submachine gun, nothing ever breaks as a semi-automatic.
@Jimmydeanmerica5 ай бұрын

Might I suggest something better....Glock G19 with a Fab Defense Cobra stock. It can be holstered and you can still fit all the usual accessories on it (holo sight, flash light, internal guide rod laser, full auto switch, extended mags). You can all get a 16" barrel and install the pistol into a Fab Defense Scout kit if you want something slightly bigger and comfortable. A 16" barrel speeds up 9mm ammo making newer bullet designs like the Underwood Extreme Defender waaaay more deadly at range. I hunt hogs with that setup and the wound channels are bigger than some 5.56 rounds in my experience.

The Glock and the APC9 both run the same 33 round Glock mags. It is really nice to just load the magazines not wondering which gun I will be shooting. To be fair, the tp9 is tiny and feather light compared to an AR. A mk18 has a 10.3" barrel and is 26-27" long and 6lbs. A TP9 is under 12", or 20" with the stock extended and 4lbs. With the OEM suppressor it measures 27". So you can get a suppressed pdw in the same space and weight as the smallest acceptable bare-bones AR. And a folding stock. Not saying it should cost what it does, but It costs more for a reason.

Once the ban laws and rules in Maryland are struck down, I'm getting a SBR of this for sure. Can't SBR anything under 29" overall length currently

I have a PSA Gen4 4" 9mm 1/10 GX M-Lok MOE+ EPT PDW Pistol and I love it. I have a conceal carry for it, but the only way to carry it is in a long backpack style. Now I’m seeing this, I WANT one. The $2000 price tag doesn’t even scare me just because how small and convenient this gun looks. I wonder if any kind of aftermarket triggers will come out for it.

And besides, I've had a silly crush on the Steyr TMP and therefore, the SPP, since the early 2000s!

Great video! The kick in the head was well placed. Clean and just so good. Thank you

Nice review Colion. Never really considered a weapon like this. I’m an old dog in my 60’s so I use what works but this definitely looks interesting…keep up the good work.👍🇺🇸
