@MadAtMax.300Blackout14 күн бұрын
@MarcMartino I don't mind dual citizenship between the US and Canada and maybe a couple other places but I'm not a fan of dual citizenship in general outside of that. Your point though, if Canada was made into States and run like the US most of Canada would have their gun rights back from what I've heard and observed. I grew up near the border in the NE. Every Canadian I met, well 90%, would be called "conservative" by nature. It took me a long time to understand why then Canada is such a liberal place

Then why did Johnson County have wall-to-wall Harris signs up? The answer, aging hippies’ children.

Mayor of Kingstown is another incredible show from Sheridan. Jeremy Renner was born for his role.
@Quasar70414 күн бұрын
@@mousec2600 I didn’t know Mayor of Kingstown was by the same guy. It makes sense though, I’m gonna have to go back and study all of Sheridan’s work because Mayor of Kingstown and Landman are DOPE.

Sucks for me, who drives a low european car. I sometimes worry that people are gonna think I'm rude because I don't always wave back, but that is because I CANNOT SEE YOU, you're so high up in the air 😂 Seriously, with the really large trucks some people drive, all I see is an engine and four massive tires going by 😅

Same thing in Florida. I live in NW Florida and people are mostly polite because most of us are armed. I am a retired LEO I can tell you that being armed has discouraged a lot of crimes including me almost getting carjacked in NM.

Rule of thumb in Jackson, MS where I’m from. Never road rage with anyone because every car has multiple weapons 🤷🏾♂️

I work in the patch. Love Landman. Just binged season 1 today. Obviously it's dramatized but there is a lot of accuracy in the show too. Not perfect but I can at least tell they tried to accurately portray what its like to work in oil and gas.

Hat tip Colion, all this about our great state is so true! I live 45 minutes East of Dallas and it's so true about everyone being armed. I love it.

Can't believe you've been sleeping on Landman this long! Pretty much every TV series Taylor Sheridan makes turns to gold. I recommend Yellowstone and 1883 if you haven't watched it yet.

Loved that series❤ This is made by the same guy?
@Leslief10314 күн бұрын
@cwell510, I never watched Yellowstone in full, though the murder and Beth scenes drew me in, but I watched the final episodes of the show, and even I was disappointed. That ending had more potential
@rjay701914 күн бұрын
@Leslief103 There's a sequel, I think it was supposed to be released last November on Paramount. I'm not sure because I don't have any cable or pay TV, Roku etc. My brother shared his DVD'S with me. I looked it up at some point because I didn't like the end either.

In regards to 3:38 I keep hearing the argument that the armed populace of the US wouldn't have a chance against the might of the US military given that they have tanks and helicopters and so on. Now name an insurgency that the US has successfully combated with all that military might. Vietnam? Somalia? Iraq? Afghanistan?
@RickNethery13 күн бұрын
Not to mention most of the military won't follow orders to attack American citizens.
@thereaper574313 күн бұрын
Now imagine an Insurgency of MILLIONS, not thousands... Yeah, I'd shit myself if i was the US Government.
@JinnTwinn13 күн бұрын
These people that make that argument fail to understand the military force is US, the people. There might be exceptions here and there which is insanity/MK ultra but the majority of personnel in any branch would refuse to engage in the destruction of their family, homes and property.

Then dont take the fight to the military, take it to the people making the laws and those close to them.

Same. Not to mention how the State has been releasing criminals, and also restricting the law-abiding from protecting themselves, and their homes with more and more stupid laws we didn't ask for.
