Where some guy is sharing mp3\flac rips uploaded to rapidshare/mediafire/megaupload links of his favorite Japanese Disco Funk album and a relevant KZbin upload linked in the same post. Then by 2012, these Japanese Disco Pop became recommended to unsuspecting KZbin users and become renamed as City Pop. 4Chan is the slums of the internet imo; there can be some good things about the corners of a metropolis like the surface web, but also inhumane, obscene, and shocking acts from others, even hosting criminals at times(the latter has the /b/ board for example, which is a run-the-gauntlet scenario of gore and cheese pizza, no pun intended of the shock site). The platform can be helpful such as the lost media community, but full of toxicity thanks to some communities' users, which is usually common. I don't use 4Chan for many reasons I can't list here. But this video details the pros and cons of the platform's /mu/ board; the supposed lost Panchiko album 'Deathmetal' is one hell of a rabbithole, and many thanks should go to these sleuths not only finding it, but resulting with Panchiko ascending to be recognized by many alternative music fans alike. Also, Anthony Fantano's community comprise of terminally online idiots interconnected in an echo chamber, completely circle-jerking other /mu/ groups with their interests such as Death Grips and Weezer. Sure, the man is biased sometimes, but I still enjoy his videos. Though another music reviewer like Todd In The Shadows, Diamond Axe Studios, and on the reaction side of things Brad Taste In Music are my favorites too, since their channels have their own identity and charm unique to them each. This channel serves it's purpose as well, and sheds light on many niches of music regardless.
