I was diagnosed with this disease three years ago. The tips of my fingers died and had to be amputated along with my left breast which turned black also. Your explanation is so much easier to understand than the doctors that treated me at Albany medical center. Thank you.

ginny grig I hope you are doing better now, and hopefully in or near being near remission! My sis was diagnosed 2 years ago and has had her leg amputated along with countless skin grafts, fortunately she's finally stopped having skin lesions, but she's having significant GI involvement and hasn't been able to find any doctors who are are knowledgeable enough to know what to do other than continue her on the max doses of chemo and steroids. If anyone has advise of where (and names of, if possible) of doctors who have experience in treating and/or researching PAN, we are in PA in the states, but willing to travel for doctors who can help! Thanks for any info you or others may have, and I wish good health for you and everyone going forward! (and I agree, this is a much better explaination overall than most! Thanks for posting this, I hope we can spread awareness!)

SsAcademy ---- I believe I have PAN / vasculitis induced by exposure to Ceftriaxone... my testicles swelled up and my knees, legs, back etc hurt. I can't seem to get anyone to do a testicular biopsy or even a leg skin sample to check to confirm....
