Back when i was a kid, i was very sensitive and would cry over the smallest things, and being a kid i would ofcourse tell my mom about it and instead of her comforting me she would yell at me and say how i'm "overreacting". I have never forgot the feeling of my stomach just like hurt? I dont know how to describe it. Now that I've grown up i realized that was probably the cause of my teenage self bottling up my own emotions and being the "quiet" kid. Thanks mom :)

I wish that one day masculine shaming for crying would stop.Too many boys grew up to be men that repress their emotions and the release of them. Boys you cry and let it out in front of the right girl and she won't shame you,She'll probably cry with you.

I was raised with feminine gender roles, still had rights to dress as I pleased in middle and highschool. When I came out then came the mocking if I was scared, or if I showed any sense of tears. I read a Tumblr post where someone suggested that Will gets Vecna'd , and that Mike and the others play Should I Stay Or Should I Go in an attempt to save him , but because 1. this is Will's favorite song now , and 2. Will associates that song with trauma from his parents and the Mind Flayer , it has the opposite effect that Running Up That Hill had on Max , and instead further isolates him in Vecna's world , reliving his trauma and believing/realizing that his friends really don't know/care about him.. I have not been ok since then
