He really didn't. His SC speedruns are all blatantly tool-assisted, he just doesn't admit to it like most speedrunners do when they cheat. This assclown WANTS you to believe he pulls these off with pure skill, but the cheats are so painfully obvious it's not even funny.

@Vale - Yep. And the easiest way to tell, if you know the game, is to simply look at his ammo count on the HUDs in all SC games. It NEVER goes down no matter how much he shoots, and he NEVER runs out of Sticky Shockers or Ring Airfoil Rounds when the games only give a limited number, usually 4 to 6 of each max. Plus how many times in these speedruns he pulls off things that are simply NOT possible without cheats. One such example is in Chaos Theory. It is IMPOSSIBLE in the base game to score 100% on the Bath-house level, because of a glitch that causes the game to think you've been spotted during the shootout between Displace Mercs and ISDF forces, regardless of whether or not you actually were spotted. The ONLY way to score 100% is with cheats in play. And guess what he scored? I could list all the myriad of other ways he's cheating, but suffice it to say, his speedruns are bullshit. And I don't even have a problem with him using cheats. Awesome Games Done Quick FREQUENTLY has Tool-Assisted (read; uses cheats) speedruns. They can be really fun to watch as indeed CotySAM's speedruns are. My issue is with him pretending they're legit when they so blatantly aren't. He wants people to THINK his speedruns are legit based on pure skill, but isn't very good at hiding or covering up the clues to his cheating, and isn't decent enough to admit his runs are tool-assisted, and THAT is kinda skeevy.

It still is hard to complete on hard difficulty settings. Reason being is that it's easy to make a noise when you shouldn't or something else like that. The game has awful camera controls. Xbox can't vouch for PC

I was stuck at that "learn how to control the camera" part forever as a kid, no kidding. Back then my English skills totally sucked and I actually thought the game (or the controller) was broken because I couldn't move. It never crossed my mind that the game would actually teach you something so ridiculously simple, of course I knew how to use the right analog stick (I played on Xbox). For the same reason I had massive problems with Halo 1's tutorial.
