Oren-Ishii will always stand in in my book as one of the most compelling and spellbinding villainesses in cinema history. A woman as cold and ruthless as the blade she wields, and yet not without a perverse sense of honor. She shares more in common with Beatrix than any other antagonist in the two-films, and is the only one, (aside from Bill) who truly understands the other's nature, and how far she'll go for vengeance.

At a time when I knew the least about my enemies, the first name on my Death List, O-Ren Ishii, was the easiest to find. But of course when one manages the difficult task of becoming queen of the Tokyo underworld, one doesn’t keep it a secret, does one? De todos sus ex compañeros ahora vueltos enemigos, estoy seguro que Beatrix a quien más respetaba era a O'Ren y ella también sentía lo mismo, por eso tuvieron la lucha más increíble en Kill Bill

I love how the soundtrack sounds like a western song but still has a calming and peaceful vibe like a Japanese song

That's because it is from a western. A good chunk of the music from Kill Bill are from old 1960s westerns like Death Rides a Horse or Navajo Joe.

I was about that age when I wasn't used to the over the top gore, I watched it, and I was like...in complete shock. Sure I had seen my fair share of gore but it was in war films, fast, not so up close and prolonged. This set me on a new path and I definitely don't regret it. I'm 32 as of this recent September 1st. I anxiously awaited the conclusion to this tale and I wasn't disappointed, but these two films changed me and really introduced me to a world of Quentin Tarantino films that quite frankly I'm glad that it did. My parents were displeased by this, but once I became old enough, they really couldn't stop me from watching films of a graphic nature and if they had great story telling behind it, I was all for it. I would go back later and watch earlier films, see what I missed out on, and then anxiously await new releases. There are still some that alluded me, but I aim to watch them all. I'm an avid movie collector and a lover of film. But Kill Bill really kicked me in the ass to try and get in the field. Sadly I have not been able to achieve my dreams of being a writer and producer. Field is tough to get in especially when you're in debt...maybe in the next life. Don't think I'd ever get to Quentin Tarantino quality anyway.

The animated bit was the most sickening bit for me as a child. Especially when she shoots them in the feet. I turned it on and off because I was confused at what I was watching. When she spoke to the first lady, the conversation was akin to a therapist. I was somewhat interested and then people were being killed in creative ways.
