Great video John! I've got nothing against the plain crackers, but the veggie ones never seemed to make much sense to me. Especially when they include peanut butter in the meal and there's obviously nothing else to use it on except the veggie crackers. Sometime I think the mre packaging people get a little punchy when they're putting things together. 😂

New subscriber. Very cool amigo. Last weekend, I picked up, A 2020 Sopacko version of this meal. I am searching, different variations, from all I am subscribed to. Most components are similar, however, there are variations, between years, and individual manufacturers. Curious to see, how mine compares to yours and others? Yours has good looking components, like most. Cobblers in other meals , I have tried, are either all dough, or, all fruit. Hard to find appropriate ratio, in between, how these are produced. I see from your subscribers, we travel in the same circle. Many mutual friends and acquaintances. They will vouch, for my lack of character, LOL. Great ration and review. I will be honest, when this review popped up, on my search, I thought it was Johns MRE, from up in Canada. So now, am subscribed to the other john, another John, and, lol, I am John? I answer to John, or Magnum, and, other multiple names. When I do my review, I will include links at the bottom, to A couple of 2018 rations, civilian, that contains pizza. I got 2, reviewed one, sent the other to Art and Nina, at Foreignmre.com. To my knowledge, both are available, and can be watched. Civilian ration, contained 2 pieces of pizza, not just one. Viper, Jessee, Dub C, Sunshine, Know me , by one format or another. Great ration, and review. Peace, the other, other, John.

You can actually get your coffee pretty warm in the hot beverage bag thrown in the FRH.

I'm sure it could get pretty hot but I wanted both the entrees to cook, and I thought the coffee might not get as hot if it was just pushed up against the FRH in the sleeve. I'll try it next time and see how much heat dispersion I can get. Thanks!

It tastes like cardboard with ketchup and plastic cheese. I heard the 'cheese' was a caseine derivative. Caseine is used in adhesives and paints. That explains a lot.

The "Toffee strips" are tootsie rolls lmao. As for the pizza, reminds me of junk my friend brought from a school she worked at. That aside, the majority of means are really decent, just don't eat the garlic mashed potatoes.

" best menu" imo one of the worst mains. The pizza is ewwwwww. The other components are not bad. But as far as pizza is concerned it's somewhat resembles what we think pizza is in the civilian world. Like DeCarlos said the cobbler is good, and have had in other menus. Nice review tho. I just subscribed ☺

I’ve found the cobbler in hamburger menus before. I agree with the pizza, it tastes malignant. As for me, i only eat cheese spread out of obligation, I hate cheese (both ration cheese and normal cheese). Love the commeny

Good luck trying to buy this on eBay in 2022 due to the pandemic and scalper plague. You won't find this MRE for less than 30 USD or any other MREs less than 20 USD with shipping. Too bad my brother is too much of party pooper to buy this legit from the army base store.
