Sunday I reviewed the 2018 lamb IMP he sent me. My apples were in the sulver Baxter's pouch and for some reason I got 2 peanut butters along with the raspberry jam and hamburger bun. The lamb was awesome !! It had poratoes and peas which were very soft but very well seasoned. If you haven't tried the lamb IMP do get it !!!!

Great review G. I love the date square. I've seen mixed reviews on the date square. The pulled pork is actually pretty good with the potatoes in it. Kind of a slight disappoinment that the main entree was not a true 2019 production date. Glad you enjoyed it, and you are more than welcome. Excellent informative video.

Production date of entres and desserts are always a year before the IMP labeled date. Assembly of this ration was in 2019; items inside were produced in 2018 :)

Excellent review very detailed! I enjoy the tortillas more then American MRE they were softer maybe just fresher. I would recommend the date square hot next time it gave it a whole different texture and taste.

@@abergethirty I did not it must have been how fresh they were and the different color packaging. It was first time eating a 2019 tortilla compared to usually 5 years old where they are kinda shiny. My mistake

Thank you, P G! I actually don't like coffee at all myself. In my first reviews I always skipped it, but people complained that I wasn't reviewing the entire ration if I skipped the coffee (valid point). So now I check it out, but generally don't have anything terribly insightful to say about it beyond "It's good."!

That's a good question, and I don't believe I've ever tried! It would seem that they wouldn't fit, but of course they're pouches, so you could probably squeeze it in to make it work. Might have to try that out next time I review an IMP!

The new rasberry "jam" is a step backwards, in my opinion :( The original IMP jam, which wasn't a jelly like the new stuff, had such an amazing taste.

I used to hoard the raspberry jam packets and tubes of condensed milk when I was in Army Cadets in the early 2000's when we'd go on field ex's. So good. That dense brick of bread with some jam and condensed milk (later peanut butter) were lifesavers during long rucks.

Everyone, says they are delicious. Very fresh ration, and, I agree, with comments, about dates, when you showed , the M&M'S. Rare indeed. Those compressed, napkins, are, tough, sir! I love them. The new sporks, I do like, however, those long handle, old style spoons, did come in handy, at times. A friend of mine, who does, real BBQ, low temp., and, long smoke times, has A favorite, T-Shirt, he wears, when he cooks. It says, " I love my Pork pulled, and, my Butt rubbed " LOL. He says, it refers, to dry rub, on meat, however, I think, it has, ulterior motives, LOL. Your Main, sides, snacks, drinks, all, look excellent, from my side of your camera. I would call this, A Darn fine meal, my friend. Cheese, would be nice, agreed friend. Great IMP, and review. I thank Tracy, again, for providing. He helps all of us, and, it is greatly, appreciated. Yes, everyone has different opinions and tastes. I'm sorry my videos aren't exactly what you're looking for (and at this stage I'm not likely to change my style for a single person), but luckily there are a LOT of reviewers these days. I'm sure some of them will be more up to your standards. I will say this is the first time I've had someone complain about me "playing with (pushing around) the food. I usually get the complaint that I simply talk too much. I think the pushing around of the entree is kind of meant (unconsciously?) as a way of there being at least SOMETHING going on to look at with the entree while I'm talking about it. It seems better than having the scene simply stay completely static. Oh well. Thank you for stopping by and checking it out anyway!

Oh, and I completely forgot to mention this! If you DO like the kind of stuff that I'm reviewing and just don't want the length, please check out my "Short Versions". I go back to the original footage and edit a completely new version that cuts out a lot of the talking, information and general talking that the regular videos have. Most of my regular subscribers want to see the regular (longer) ones, but I do realize that we're living in a short-attention-span world and people want their videos to be quick and to the point. The short versions are generally at least 50% shorter (and some quite a bit shorter than that. Not much I can do about the "whispering" voice, but at least there's less to listen to and probably less "playing with" of the food! Short version of this one isn't up yet, but in the future you can keep an eye out for the videos that say "Short Version" in the title and on the thumbnail!
