MRE Review Norwegian 24 hr from 2010

This video is a MRE Review of a Norwegian 24 hr ration Menu 5 Tropical . I have always enjoyed the Norwegian single meal kits so I am super excited to see this 24hr MRE that has breakfast, lunch, and dinner modules. I take this out on a long hike and take breaks to enjoy the meals. Join me in exploring the contents of this ration as well as seeing whats all inside and tasting the food.

Those Norwegian rations look great. I like how they're designated as Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner modules as you put it, unlike the majority of U.S. rations. No shortage of bugs in your neck of the woods. Thanks for the review.

What a ration! Pretty impressive 24 hour package, you certainly wouldn’t be hungry at the end of the day. Nice settings to review this MRE in, sounds like you’re in the same weather pattern we are-HOT! It was 97F here plus humidity and it supposed to keep getting worse until the end of the week. Interesting packaging. Breakfast components look great. Nice combination. Impressive that everything held up even after ten years. Love the outdoor settings. Like the lunch menu. Cool that the mackerel held up! Dinner tuna survived as well. Very impressive ration. Love the variation! Amazing how everything stayed well after 10 years! I agree. Several different energy bars would have been ideal. Well done buddy!

What an interesting ration. As a fellow Michigander I would have to say mosquitoes are vicious up there ... good to see you kept your composure! I dunno about the fish packets of nasty, I mean if you don’t like fish it dosent mater how it’s prepared. If it don’t smell good then don’t eat it 😂

I was about a pint low all said and done. I had spray repellent on and still they swarmed. I think pate or jam would have been better then the fish packets especially in tropical climate. Thanks for watching JC.

The freeze dried vacuum pack was pretty interesting but It does condense the size of the packaging so that helps keep overall size down. Thanks for watching.

Nice ration, and, nicely done Dub !! I have seen the single meals you mentioned, but, not A 24 hr. ration, that I recall? Good looking food , all meals. Raisins look rough, agreed. I was concerned about the mackerel as well. You survived however, LOL. Lamb looks excellent, apparently tasted good as well. Some of the lime-lemon tuna, is, well, overpowering to me. I am glad you enjoyed. Pasta looked good, however, lamb looked better to me. Dang , Bro. Those mosquitoes, never give you A break !!!!!!!! Peace from Ky., John.

I seriously wish i could find one of these. I know it is basically just 3 of their field rations put together, but i would have really enjoyed to try something different even though it is 10 years old. I know what you mean about the humidity and mosquitoes though down here in Arkansas. Supposed to be in the upper 90's all next week. Also after looking on the map i grew up not too far from you. I lived on White Lake in Highland just East of you until i was 13. Thanks for sharing!
