Don't mind the weird looking wall on the left, I'm working on it 😅 ✨Wishlist & try Dashpong's demo: s.team/a/1729250/

It was very informative to see you react and talk though your design choices and fixes to their feedback. I surprisingly liked this format and had fun reacting to it on my stream as you reacted to me in chat, what a strange world we live in.

This was such a pleasure to watch! Your positive attitude and receptiveness to feedback is amazing. I think so many gamedevs could learn from your approach to playtesting. I totally understood your reasoning for the no boundary mode comment btw, those are the things you can only know when you playtest your game enough. A dev knows their game best. 🌟 Wishlist Dashpong everyone!!!

Great video mate. I have to admit, I don't want to play the demo, I want to stay pure for the first release... But when I see them enjoying the game like this, damn I want to play it. Keep up the great work.

Awesome feedback. Especially the one about the UI. Making good looking, clean and understandable UIs is so difficult! Really smart to let other game devs and game designers play your game, by the way! 👍

The key to make good UI in my experience was just to guide the player and reduce the number of choice they have to make at each step. First game mode, then number of players, then map, etc.. Yeah I think it's really valuable! It's so important to have an other pair of eyes look at your game. If they're gamedev themselves, I feel like the feedback quality is even higher.

Thinking of the 2v2 with 1 attacker and 1 defender. An idea that comes to mind is a game type like where the map is divided not in two sections, but into 4 sections. (full height, thin width). Think of it like a foosball table. There is a goalie, then the opponent's attacker, then your attacker, then your opponent's goalie. With the possibility of throwing paddles to try to help the other one, it cold be very fun.

Another suggestion for the blinking paddles: Maybe the paddles can grow more white and increase in intensity over time, as if they are being filled with energy, and when it is most intense "it cannot contain the energy anymore" and blows up! It could be a clear and smooth way of keeping track without having to purposefully focus on the paddle while playing. OR I COULD BE TOTALLY WRONG. LETS PLAYTEST!!!

Hmmm I need to try that, it might be good! Thanks for the idea 👍
