Liked this and subscribed to your channel! Can you tell me if I can get accepted to Cornell with this marks: Class 9 - 49% Class 10 - 74% Class 11 - 60% Class 12 - 93.75% I am really worried for my acceptance and I think they would reject me for my grades. But in EC I had---- Been Vice captain of my House team, Worked in 2 NGOs, Represented my school in various competition , ranked 5th from my Grade 12 batch in final exams, Anchored various events in my school , got 1st division in Dance competitions,completed 5 years in classical dance, did research project on Sociology( which I will be doing major on) etc. Still i have no hopes of getting accepted. Please tell me, do I have any chances of getting into it?

Pakhi RC I’ll be honest with you, although of course I can’t give you a definite answer, i will say that you have a lot of extra curricular activities going on for you and that you are in control of your future. Cornell will see these aspects with leadership intent. With that being said, First-Year Spring Admits, which is what I got accepted as, are accepted into for leadership qualities which you posses. I think that’s amazing that your doing research at such a young age. Keep up the hard work, and don’t let your past misguide you, let your future shape your present.

Hi, I’m currently a freshman in high school, and I’ve just began the second semester, I’m taking 2 “Advanced” classes; Spanish 2, and Honors English. Unfortunately, I’m not in Geometry/Bio my freshman year, but I do have a 99% average right now. I play 3 sports, but I’m not in any clubs at the moment because of sports. What do you recommend I do to better prepare myself for a Cornell application in the future?
@MrFandyman20024 жыл бұрын
Simple, make sure you do super well on your SAT. No but honestly, doing good on your SAT will set you. My parents always told me it was equivalent to four years of high school and it really is. But like i said in the video, take all the advanced classes you think will benefit you and try to become a leader of a club, or helping with the community. Saying you are a leader on and off the court is an easy common app essay and something that will prove you are a team player looking to help others.

seyit ikram certainly. That was the same way for me and it shows improvement. They will see that you are a hard worker and for a college like Cornell, they will like this about you because as you all ready know, it is not easy, but the fact that you will work hard to achieve greatness is an impressive trait. Nicely done
