Dave, I wonder if the gooseneck is compatible with any Japanese, European, or aftermarket stems and triple clamps. It would be interesting to know whether KTM, Yamaha, Kawasaki, or any of the other brands of triple clamps off of 250 2T or 450 4 strokes would fit? I would need 450 suspensions as I still press near 215 to 225 in weight fully suited up. It would be nice if 48.mm cartridges.

I would guess that some older KTM stuff would fit...but I do not have the luxury of having any of those other brands parts lying around to test and measure them...I only switched because they fit the stock triple clamps and I had them lying around from another bike build......plus they save 6lbs of weight....never can lose enough weight.🤣

@@Dirt_Bike_Dave something that I'm sure will be discovered in time. I mean if there is cross compatibility with parts that have more aftermarket and dealer support with greater ease of access it would make customizing and maintaining the bike easier.

You have any experience with KYB forks? My YZ125x has them, and man its such a game changer coming off of my mild mannered KLX 300R. I've heard great things about Showa to, but don't have any personal experience.

The Suspension on Yamahas are often considered the best by industry people...but no I never have owned anything with them...I like these older twin chamber forks and they happen to fit right on my Kayo so I ran it.😁👍

Yes, Kayo brake caliper bolted to the Honda fork mounts no problem, Fit in triple clamps perfect...it was obvious they cloned a Honda set of forks and brakes.....I think I will be at West Craven on Friday...Moto40 has Vurb Moto event this weekend so staying away from that mess...they plan on a Huge turnout.

@@Dirt_Bike_Dave ok. West Craven is to far for me. Going to go to DNA mx where they are going to have vintage mock races and only modern bikes for the 50 plus crowd. Should be a good time. Saturday. Going to take my 1998 Jeff Emig bike that I just bought last month and my 1989 kx 250. Maybe my Yamaha 125 too

How do you adjust the suspension to make is softer riding I got one and it’s super rough riding and Idk how to fix it

So look for videos on KZbin for setting your sag on the rear shock...... and then look for how to set rebound and compression adjusters....Rocky Mountain ATV MC has great videos on this.....Good Luck !!
