See how to change the fork seals on your dirt bike or motorcycle in this video from Partzilla.com.
This process varies from model to model, but the basics are generally the same. In this video, we’ll show the outlines of that process. It involves some disassembly at the wheel and brakes, some disassembly at the top, removal of the fork, and then an organized, clean process to remove the old seals, get the new seals in, and refill the fork with fork oil.
What are the symptoms of leaking fork seals on your motorcycle? The most obvious one is that you’ll see the oil on the fork leg or a lot of dust or road grime on the fork where it is sticking to the oil. From a feel standpoint, you might feel some bounce in the front end as the oil breaks down or leaks out.
