06:06 There is also a balloon above you on the balcony. Oh and by the way you dont need to obtain the igao entry card. You can just go the route you did took at the end and then go inside at the big entrance. Nobody will bother you, cause they will assume that you have a card with you.

Found this one easier on the 1st escalation to use a coin by the door toward the chopper far easier, the 2nd one to knock out both guys in the start and hide them and then take out the balloons and last wait for helmut to make his salut by the statue next to the starting point and lure him in with coin drops to knock him out and hide behind a stone bench. Last escalation was pretty much the same except I started by taking out the guards and the balloons since knocking out helmut is the easiest and least risky part. Takes a little more time but got the job done. Ended up using weapons to drop at strategic points with coin distraction to lure guards to the shed to take them out as that brought them away from others as long as the 3 guards around the shed was dealt with first.

I had problems where Kruger refused to investigate the coin, so I found a two ways to do it depending on the path he takes. Do the begining exactly the same however don't bump into him and let him pass through the kitchen. Once that is done distract the guard inbetween the staircase room and kitchen who could see you enter. Enter and take out the two waiters, hiding their bodies in the closet. Simply lie in wait, hiding when Viktor and his body guard enter, and then when Kruger passes through again knock him out as the room is empty. Hide the body behind the black crates in the back, then just go around popping balloons as shown. It helps as there is also a balloon in the same kitchen. You can just restart untill he does this pattern. Or alternatively for the final level, at the bging where you knock out the guy with the invite, knock out the guard too and when Kruger goes out aide lure him around the back using coins and then pacify him where you did the invite guy.

This one was kinda fun until I saw my ranking on level 3, which was the lowest I've ever done after such a good run. Did a pretty much flawless run after lots of trial and error, yet I had several hundred people more than usual ahead of me. For such a long and quirky mission I'd not expect so many players to come up with such effective solutions. It does seem like people are indeed much better at escalations in Hitman 2 compared to the main missions, though. Competition is generally much harder.

Pay close attention to the "Time bonus" you'll see on those leaderboards. There's a LOT of hacks and cheats up there, which is pretty obvious since the top place score is almost always for a total mission time of "0:00". Even if you spawn in, skip the intro scene, all targets are standing next to a bomb you detonate and you're right next to the exit, that's clearly impossible. ^_^ My point is.. don't worry too much about the scores up there. Most missions and escalations, for quite some way down from the top, they're clearly not valid anyways. If you're happy with your own runs, that's all that really counts. All that said, Freeze is a freaking Hitman God. Anywhere I can use saves, I can *eventually* do what he does... with enough trial and error. The places where there's no saves though? Heh.. some of his strategies are just... jaw-droppingly good. Like.. I completely understand *HOW* to do it. Just... making it actually happen? Completely different story. :)

@@TheAntonia71 Yeah, there's a lot of ingenuity going into some runs in this game. I do not understand how people come up with the most insane ones, and I understand even less of how they physically manage to pull it off. I guess their time perception is different than mine.

For part 1 I just used the coins on Kruger, silent attacked him, then left without distracting any guards, this way is easier but you won't get the silent assassin bonus

You say 'as long as you don't hit him from the side' but then you hit him directly from the side. If I do exactly what you did, I get an unconcious witness. Also, Kruger doesn't try the other staircase first, so he approaches me before the lady is up the stairs, meaning she's lured by the coins, not him. Pain in the ass. I guess I just gotta stalk him with my bat and hope he goes somewhere alone.

Huh I didn't know you could just leave bodies around if you're fast enough to finish the mission. As long as no one sees them you get SA. I always thought you had to hide them. Also my strategy was completely different. I went up to the left side of the bar, knock the 2 guys in the kitchen, stuff them into the cabinet outside of the kitchen to the left. Get back in, distract the guard (tho idk if that's needed), knock him out and stuff him inside the kitchen's cabinet. Then Kruger will ALWAYS come into the kitchen. And you can safely knock him out there and sttuff him in the cabinet as well. The reason I did it is because I didn't know the coin had such a huge range for distracting. One more thing there's a very well hidden balloon in the balcony, from the top of that entrance facing the helicopter. So you don't need to pop that one in kitchen.

on the second escalation level, i literally got caught trying to pop the second balloon because i could barely see it. the one on the left side that's being nearly completely covered by trees and i had to start it over multiple times in order to even get it, just to get caught trying to get a good shot

Unless something changed in Hitman 2, you are over-complicating things for the first level of this escalation. I didn't even need an invitation and Helmut Kruger's route is always the same.

Never knew there were more than 5 balloons. I got the one at the horse statue, the one in the room with St Claire, the main stairs, the kitchen (didn't know you could should it from outside) and the big Kruger hall. I lure Helmut outside through the big double doors with two coins, nobody ever goes there so it's safe.
