In Hitman 3 the sound distraction has a shorter distance so it won't attract Dexter from his balcony. But if you have a silenced pistol you can shoot his window and it will bring him close to your room to investigate. Then lure him in and you can handle the rest.

For those who can't be arsed to reach rank 20 and unlock the loadouts for this method, here's a simple enough alternative: - Follow Dexter into his suite, wait till he goes outside and the cleaning staffs leaves the room to subdue him. Grab the striker and drag him into the bathroom and put a bullet on him. - Go into your suite and turn on the toilet. Grab any item you can throw (I used the fire extinguisher) and throw it close to the suite door (with the door open) whenever someone comes close. - Wait for them to come inside the suite (Hence becoming targets) but instead of going back outside, they will check out the toilet. Then you subdue the target and drag them away from the bathroom. Rinse and repeat a couple times till you have 3 knocked out targets. After that just drag them back into the bathroom (Just to be sure noone hears the shot), pile em up and put a bullet on them. All you have to do is escape at this point.

You can silently kill Dexter with the striker by doing a close combat shot when he is on the balcony and just dump his body off the rail. Used the same decoy method you did, I think this video would have been much better if he showed something similar.

I wish I had watched this before. When I did this escalation on my own, I caused such a commotion in level three that Yuki Yamazaki escaped in the cable car, so I had to use a different, farther away, exit. Unfortunately, NPCs kept going into my room before I reached the exit, so I had to keep going back and killing them to satisfy the kill all trespassers requirement. Don't even ask what the final body count was!

Nice vid, love the touch of making Dexter a trespasser. Don’t have Bonaparte yet though. I did it by throwing scissors and busts. Shot two in the head after dragging their bodies on to my terrace. Dumped them over the rail for good measure and the first trespasser whose neck I snapped went into the closet.

From the early screenshots of new disguises, I've been guessing why the Cowboy Suite is so familiar to me. And finally I remembered. Exactlty the same outfit have been wearing Jason Statham in his collaboration with Jennifer Lopez in the Parker (2013) movie. Great one, I should say. Very fits to Hitman stories. Very weird nobody is panicking when you kill 3 people in your room ;) I killed Dexter in his room on my first attempt using the "eliminate" action, the gun barely did any noise, but immediately 4 people decided to hide in my room XD

Very old but in case there's other late comers to the series like me. On lvl 3 the main target won't hear the distraction from your balcony anymore. Instead I just shot him from your rooms balcony and then proceeded like the earlier levels bringing in 3 others, subduing them, and dragging them all into one pile in the bathroom to get the double kill with one shot.

My adaptation for 2 and 3 without any mastery is the following: 1. Go and follow Dexter inside his room and grab Striker along along with the cowboy bust on the table. 2. Wait for the cleaning woman leaves. Make sure that the door is closed and then run to the balcony. Make sure you close that door as well. Since shots will only be heard if it’s in the next room the suite itself makes it ideal for you to shoot Dexter while outside. Shoot him on the balcony. 3. Go to 47’s suite and grab the cowboy bust and use them as you would coins. This way you can control each person that comes in one at a time. Knock them out with one of the busts and drag the first two to trespass out on the balcony. Stack one on top of the other. Fire where their bodies intercept. Throw them over the balcony if you want (it’s not mandatory). Get the third and final trespassers the same way way and snap their neck after you knock them out. 4. Leave via the closest exit.

For killing dexter so can you do a silence kill on him with the magnum and it will be silenced if the door is closed so no one will hear it

If you don't have the napoleon, or any noise-making device, there's an extremely easy way to lure Dexter into your room. I skipped the cutscene at the beginning and ran straight to where Dexter is, before he enters his suite. Since he's an enforcer you just have to let him see you, and run to 47's suite. Dexter will be suspicious and will follow you into 47's suite. You can kill him there, and he also counts as a trespasser so that's 1 less person to lure. Then use regular coins to lure 2 other people in the suite, no need for a particular device for that. Then just go retrieve the Striker in his suite (from 47's balcony to his balcony). For level 3 I did the same, just subdued everyone instead of killing, piled them up in my bathroom, then went to the suite to retrieve the striker and went back to my suite to shoot them all. Since the Striker makes a lot of noise, I was expecting guards to hear it and storm in my suite, but no, nothing happened. It's even easier than I expected. One of the easiest escalation imo.

If someone is still curious after two years, no, it's sadly not possible to one shot Dino. Weirdly tho, if you sneak up to him and eliminate him through the elimination button you can one shot him with any pistol.

Because the Striker can pierce walls, targets etc. And its actually strong enough to launch various objects in a quite hilarious manner. Seen people use it in speedruns for exactly that. Getting it silenced ontop of all that would just remove the point of any other gun.
