This is one of my favorite songs. And the movie it's from Yong Americans is underrated. I couldn't find a HQ video so I ripped this from my Volumen DVD.

I always refer to this song as the best James Bond theme song never used in a James Bond movie
@horrorfanandy46478 ай бұрын
Absolutely agree with you there. David Arnold composed it and of course went on to create arguably the best scores in the series since John Barry. I always thought this song would have worked wonderfully for a sort of direct follow-up to OHMSS (If they had made one in the 90's with either Dalton or Brosnan of course) with the song being all about emotional numbness. If I ever make a Bond fan-film I think I'll force myself into using it, there's a reason the rest of the Bond community loves creating alternate title sequences with this song, it's absolutely elite and perfectly suits the character of Bond even though it wasn't written about him! 🤣

One of my favourites from the Nineties, along with Massive Attack and Tracy Thorn's Protection. Such emotional power in the vocals, the haunting lyrics and the soundscapes in both songs are extraordinary. They still affect me now. Magical.

I was KZbin searching for this song based of a vague childhood memory of Bjork having a phenomenal song that sounded a little Massive Attack with that soaring Violin piece... I could never find. Until finally I found it on Virgin Atlantic flight to Cape Town before Christmas on a Bjork album that I searched through on the in-flight wntertainment system. I must have listened to it 20 times straight! 😂😅

I didn't realise this was produced by David Arnold. He worked on many Bondy films and Bjork could have song a main Bond theme. Sadly we only got a Cover of you only live twice by Bjork and David Arnold.
