Last time I looked Oklahoma had 25 straight bowl appearances and is ranked 6th in all time college football wins. 7 national championships and the longest winning streak in NCAAF history. I dont even understand the inconsistency either how we go from beating georgia to losing to vandy and tennessee turn around get momentum back from clobbering lsu in their own turf to going to oklahoma and throw it all away

It happens because: 1. DeBoer tool away discipline and accountability to be buddies with the players. 2. He has assistant coaches in over their heads. (Don't get me started on the strength coach all chained up and smoking a cigar before the Tennessee game. 3. Coaching staff's inability to put together a game plan and then adjust. Every game they lost they got out coached. 4. Inability to make their QB a better player as the season went on. 5. Players playing for themselves instead of the team. This looked as bad as the last game versus OU when you had players more worried about the draft and not winning the game. 6. Lack of accountability from players. Everyone pointing fingers, starting with the QB blaming the receiver for his interception.

I’ve noticed whatever mood Milroe is wearing on his face before the game starts seems to be an indicator of how their playing is going to be. If it’s anything but a happy face, we’re in trouble. Maybe it’s not the new coach after all, but some sour old players still missing their daddy. Perhaps the only remedy is a whole new recruiting class and fair well to the fair weather players.

You said it right: We chose to put ourselves through this. It's for life and no-one is backing out. I remember the early 2000s and this feels alot like that. We lost 3 regular season games in 2010 but this feels worse. It's not just the losing; it's how we're losing and who we're losing to. When we were in the driver's seat for the playoff and maybe the SEC, when we had everything to play for, we didn't show up. No one won a matchup, no one could block, we looked completely lost. No one could catch a ball suddenly. And no one could snap us out of it. This is on the coaches too. They obviously let the team eat the Rat Poison all week. And that was the worst offensive play-calling I have ever seen. 3 points??

Tennessee fan here, it sure has been a crazy season that’s for sure. When we lost to Arkansas I lost my mind thinking our season was over then. And then Bama losing to Vandy, Ole Miss losing to Kentucky and Florida, thank you Gators that pushed us back in the CFP, Auburn beating A&M, Wow lol
