I completed that node in 10/11 days with BK and NC 3 diamonds, Shuri, Hank, and Northstar 6y/6r. Much slower and more complicated but not at all dissatisfied since I gave power to many teams and characters that are more useful to me than full x treme. I started the second node and I estimate that I will be able to enter global villains basically when it is ending so good timing.

I'm pretty sure the Deathstrikes aren't the upgraded ones. I made the mistake focusing on them. When I focused on the Sentinels and Omega Sentinel I made progress

Global villain is easy. I had the 3 piece orchis apoc and daken. Only difficult part is final wave with skrull. Don't overthink this section
