Yea I already have the Texan SS in .457 and I'll up 4500 psi upgrade tank and valve and the upgrade spring kit. Maybe I'll get the Texan carbine in .357 put a moderator on it. and later I'll put a 4500 psi upgrade kit on it.

The pattern of the 55 grain grouping signifies some tumbling in flight.

that barrel can stabilize 120's, and if it stabilizes a longer bullet, it can stabilize a short 55gr. You really have to try to over-spin a bullet to get it to become unstable (we're talking a 1 : 2 rate of twist here). The oscillation of the barrel with those 55gr at that setting and pressure may not be consistent, hence the reason why the group opened up with more and less velocity. If he kept increasing hammer strike and bore pressure, eventually, he'd hit another node and the group would be small again. Tumbling (unstable) bullets print as obviously oblong holes on paper; these were round.

Needs a regulator, pcp market needs more slug gun choices. Shot count on that gun will never be applicable for ground squirrels or prairie dogs. Slugs will never replace pellets.
